I breathe in the smell of smoke and gag a little as I walk into Garrison High, Today is the start of my Senior year. I couldn't see Pidge around me so I just went to my class. I look around for Block A, I ran into a tall tan boy who seemed like the type to put you to the floor in half a second. "I'm sorry, I couldn't see where I was going, I'm really sorry." I apologize quickly before I get punched, 'it's okay" I walk in a fast pace to get to my class before the late bell rings.

I take a seat in my art class in the back corner so I can dash out of here as soon as the bell rings. "Hello students, I'm Mrs. Ruby To start off your senior year we are gonna start with a icebreaker to get to know eachother!" Most classmates groan, But I was glad, Maybe I'll make a new friend. "So I will assign a project to each team, And no you can't go with your friends I will be choosing your team member." Well jokes on you I don't have friends.

"Lance McClain, Your team member will be Keith Kogane, Hunk you'll go with.." Mrs. Ruby's words seem to fade as the boy who I ran into earlier walks towards me. "How did you know my name is Keith?" Lance points at my name tag on my desk and laughs. I turn away with a bright cherry flushed face. "So this project will be painting a canvas with your partner, You will have to paint something you both have in common!"

I stare into Lance's eyes, Wow they were beautiful. Lance furrows a eyebrow at me, I just had to realize now that he had been staring at me as well. "s-sorry" I whisper and turn my head into the direction of Mrs. Rudy continuing her instructions. I wasn't really paying attention though. "Alright, You may begin!"

 As soon as she said that, The bell rang and I ran out of class, As I made it halfway through the crowded hallway I felt a strong grip on my hood and I was pulled back. I turn around and my eyes met with Lance. "Here's my number for the project. Bye" He left before I could say anything. His friends surrounded him saying things about how I was his next toy, I didn't care enough to process what they meant by that.

(a/n time skip to after school because im too lazy to spend time on the rest of the seven periods)

"Everyone here is too stupid to comprehend that I'm not gonna do their homework for them, God." I snap back out of my thoughts listening to Pidge, "Well did you meet anyone who catches your eye in any of your classes?" Pidge asked me as I stop in my tracks looking for Lapageria Cafe. 

"Yeah, His name is Lance McClain. He's my partner for the art project." Pidge gags as we walk into the pink cafe. I look at them confused as they orders our regular shakes and food. We sit down at a booth as I toss a fry in my mouth. "Haven't you heard of the rumors Keith? He's a asshole and a player." 

I stare at Pidge for a second, "He was nice to me, I think, I don't know, Your the only one who has been nice to me other than Shiro and Curtis." They frown, "If he tries to pull anything I swear to god ill shove his head right up his a-" Pidge stopped her sentence as she looks at her notification. "Speaking of meeting new people, I met this dude named Hunk and a pretty girl but I never got her name" 

"I'm glad." I smile as I took a sip out of my strawberry milkshake. "Yeah, You can meet him on Monday!" I smile brightly remembering its a Friday, Weird on how they put he first day of school on a Friday. "Well, I gotta go, Matt wants me to bring him food since he's building again." I nod and waved goodbye, As I was gonna walk out of the Cafe I felt a tug on my sleeve, I looked up and saw Lance in front of me.

"Hey, Funny seeing you here." I nod awkwardly looking down at my black converse. "I thought I should've tried something new with my girlfriend." I look up noticing a girl with was next to him. "That's good." I say with a small voice feeling a pang of emotion hit through my stomach. Probably the fries, They tasted weird. "Well message me later so we can talk about the project" I nod and leave the Cafe.

I went home, opening the door seeing Shiro watching Supernatural. "Hey welcome back! How was your first day" I looked inside the fridge for water, "It was good, I met a boy and Pidge made a new friend" He quickly paused his show turning his head at me after hearing I met a boy. "Ah, Tell me about it" I sit down on the grey smooth couch. 

"His name is Lance, Pidge says he's a "asshole" and a "Player", but he's really nice and he's probably my friend!" Shiro stares at me with wide eyes and snorts, "Well you learned two words you weren't supposed to know." I shrug.

We finished talking as I go up to my bedroom, Changing into shorts and a oversized shirt to sleep in. I throw myself on my bed quickly falling asleep.
