The Dead One: The Final Grudge

Chapter 60

Kuro and Hibiki quickly ran inside the house hoping they were not too late...

Until they heard the screams...

Yamada: Aaaaaaaaah?!!

Kuro: Shit...! Yamada!!! Shinozaki!!!

Once they were both inside, what they saw was...an heinous scene...

Tokime was lying on the ground...blood was coming everywhere from his body as he was being stabbed multiple times through his abdomen.

Kuro: Shino....Zaki?

There was no light left in those green eyes of his anymore...

He was gone....

The sword that had stabbed him was pulled out by it's master.

Standing above the corpse glowing in black....was Yukime Shirosaki.

Kuro: Chibi.....

Koga:....

Chibi:.....

Chibi hardly responded to him before shifting his head over to Yamada. The delinquent was backing away in horror trying to get himself inches away from Chibi.

Yamada: S-Stay back! Stay back!

Kuro quickly grabbed his axe and got in front of Yamada to defend him.

Kuro: Don't you dare!

However, Chibi quickly disappeared and kicked Kuro into the side who was shock by his speed.

Kuro: (So fast?! How?!)

Once Kuro hit the wall. Yamada was pulled up by Chibi who was holding him by his throat.

Yamada: No...No...Stop...Please...

Koga: Let him go Chibi or I will recite a prayer to stopping you!

A black magical force came out of Chibi hitting Hibiki full on who ends up colliding into the wall where Kuro was...

Yamada whimpered as he tried to get away once again but then tells out a scream as he felt pain.

He looked down to see one of his own legs dismembered from his body.

Yamada: GAAAAAAAAAAAH?!!! STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME??!!

Kuro's eyes went wide as Yamada begin to get tortured by Chibi. He tried to move into their area as a last attempts to save Yamada. But was once again pushed back by the black force coming out of his former friend.

Kuro: Damnit! Chibi! Stop!

Yamada: P-Please...Why are you doing this to me...? Why-?! GAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

Yamada's felt the sword plunged straight into his abdomen. He then felt his life flashed before his eyes...new found memories of his friends at Yongedu High leading up to his little brother Yuki...

Yamada: Yuki....I'm sorry....

He then felt his life was fading...he thought of the last person who felt the most guilt for.

Yamada: (Mei...I never got the chance too...tell you my real feelings....I'm sorry....)

Chibi stabbed him on final time straight through the heart before forcefully pulling it out.

The delinquent let out one final scream before the light in his eyes finally faded away.

Kuro: Noooooo!

Koga: Fuck! Fuck! Fuck this shit! Fuck everything! Why are you doing this Chibi?!

Chibi:.....

The black force around Chibi finally started to fade as Kuro suddenly heard that familiar giggle.

Kuro: Yokai....

Yokai-chan was here...but Kuro couldn't see her...but he knew...he knew she was there...mocking them...taunting them...like everything that had happened beforehand was just a silly game for shits and giggles.

Everything this damn doll had done...

She didn't wait for Kuro's answer. Chibi started to leave the house by disappearing into the oozing black below coming back to his master as Yokai continued.

Koutarou-Sensei shook his head no. The same went for Shiomi as well.

Koutarou: Nothing yet. I hope those boys are safe.

Shiomi: I will call them soon. Right now... Let's determine this puzzle that Shirosaki-san was able to solve before his existence was erased from this timeline.

Nora: (Poor Shirosaki-kun...)

Koutarou: I still can't believe he was actually a student here and was one of Mirai-kun's old friends...How could I forget him easily....?

Hearing that name made them all go silent before jumping into the next subject.

Shiomi was working on pushing in the confirmation code.

Suddenly, the library begin to shift as the hidden door begin to open as the three survivors turn their heads towards the opening.

Nora: We finally found it. Good work Shiomi-chan.

Shiomi nodded.

Koutarou: Now...time to find out what are the hidden secrets that my family been keeping for years...
