It was supposed to be another day at Yongedu High. That is until Shouta got a good look at Kuro.

Shouta: Holy Shit! You look like hell!!!

Kuro had dark eye bags underneath his sockets. It looked like he hasn't got any sleep last night.

Kuro: I feel like hell...

Shouta: Let me guess...nightmares...

Kuro: Maybe...

Sometimes a nightmare is just a bad dream—isolated and disagreeable imagery with little emotional response from the dreamer. However, a nightmare can lead to feelings of fear, terror, and anxiety....

Kuro: But it felt real...

Shouta: Really...? What did you see...?

Kuro:....

Usually, Kuro is the type of person to keep things to himself. But then again this is Shouta we're talking about. Shouta was more avenge the person who couldn't mind his own business...even if he wanted too...

But Kuro trust him...

Kuro: I...I know I maybe going crazy...but...I saw Mei in my dreams...

Confusion spread across Shouta's face before he made a devious grin.

Shouta: Ohh. Wet dreams~!

Kuro smacked him upside the head.

Shouta: Owwww!

Kuro: Dumbass! It wasn't like that.

Shouta: Sure, whatever you say, you know you want it like that~!

Kuro: Say another word and I'm leaving Shouta.

Shouta: Okay okay! We're being serious then! So what really happened? Why were you dreaming about Mei?

Kuro:......I dreamt that I killed her....

Shouta:....WTF?!

Kuro: I-I don't know...It just...I just don't know...

Shouta: Kuro...

Kuro: I can't tell her about this Shouta...I'll lose her trust...I don't want that...

Shouta: Then don't tell her...After all, it was just a bad dream, right...?

Kuro: But it felt real...almost like a dream reality...

Shouta: Eh?

....Now it could've been a bad dream...or maybe Kuro is suffering from DRC...

Dream-reality confusion (DRC) is a difficulty or inability to determine whether an event or experience occurred during the waking state or whether it was part of a dream.

Example: The dream that he had just witnessed...could become real...

Shouta: How can that be possible...?

Kuro: Dreams can affect reality but only till certain point, Shouta.

Dreams can affect your thoughts. Dreams are the product of subconscious, so if Kuro's subconscious is awake during his thinking then dreams can affect his thoughts. So this could led to a very scary situation.

Kuro: Though...I hope it is all just a dream.

???: Mirai-kun...

Kuro looked behind him to see Koutarou right behind him and Shouta. What did the school Infirmary doctor wanted with him.

Kuro: Yes Koutarou-Sensei?

Koutarou: Is it okay if I ask you a couple of questions?

Shouta: ???

Kuro:...Yes.

-Later-

After departing from Shouta, Kuro soon found himself back in the infirmary...

To be honest, it smelled way better before...

Back then...

It used to smell like rotten corpses and blood.

Mostly from all the deaths that had happened in this school when it was under Mei's (or Misaki's control).

Kuro: So...what did you wanted to talk about, sir?

Koutarou: Well...for starters...I wanted to get this off my chest. But first... Mirai-kun...

Kuro: Yes sir...?

Koutarou bowed his head on the floor much to Kuro's shock.

Koutarou: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much for helping Mei...

Kuro: (Ah...So that's why I'm here...)

Koutarou: I-If I wasn't for you...Mei...Mei would've perished...And I...I would've lost the only person I considered as a family...

Kuro: Koutarou-Sensei...It's okay...Mei doesn't blame you for what happened...

Koutarou: But still...I could've done more to help her...

Kuro: At least you asked....

That day before Mei was almost killed by her psycho teacher, he did question Mei about her mysterious behavior and her well-being....and for him to find out that she was being bullied and Kirishima was the one who started all this...He felt like it was all his fault.

Koutarou: (If it wasn't for Kirishima's silly little crush on me...then maybe none of this would've happened...)

Kuro:....Sensei?

Koutarou: Eh? Oh right! That's why I brought you here...I wanted to ask...how did you know Mei was in danger...?

Kuro sighed. He saw that coming from far ahead. He wonders should he tell the whole story. Because if so, would Koutarou-Sensei even believe him...? But if he don't...This choice could impact the future between him and everyone else...it could go from better to worse...

It was a risky situation....

Kuro: Do you want the full story of how I knew...

Koutarou: Yes...Please...tell me...did someone told you she was in trouble...?

Kuro: No...It wasn't like that. But did you knew...the consequences of Kirishima's actions led to whole new level of drama, suspense, lies and murders to take place all over the school...

Koutarou's eyes went wide. Kirishima...murdered someone...? But she only attempted to kill Mei...What is Kuro getting at. This was all so confusing.

Koutarou: Eh...What are you talking about...? I don't get-!

Kuro cut the doctor off before he could say anything else.

Kuro: Promise me...you'll keep this a secret between us... because what I'm about to tell you...I know it'll sound ridiculous. But everything that I had seen and witnessed up until now is true. No games. No lies. Nothing but the truth. I'm serious....

Koutarou:......I'm all ears...

Kuro: Koutarou-Sensei...Mei, you, and everyone else in this school had died...

-Meanwhile-

Konami: Bye bye Mei!

Natsuki: See you tomorrow, Mei.

Mei: Hai! See you girls tomorrow.

Mei waves at the two girls who took off down the street. Mei took the other direction humming a small tone to herself.

....before she was grabbed by her mouth.

Mei: Mmph?!

???: Shhhh! Don't make a sound...

Mei's eyes looked up to see a familiar face...which made her gap in horror.

Making a widely sadistic grin was her brother...

Her twin brother, Miao Aishiteru.

Miao: Come with me...Father has plans for you.

Mei:......
