Dedication: Jessisme. She has a book that you probably heard of called 'The Secret Princess' and I'm being distracted by the PREMIERE of the music video of 'Little Things' and yeah. Can't. Look. Away. Back on topic, she almost always replies to my comments and it makes my day. :) <3
-Chapter 8- Kidnapped
Violet's POV:
Opening my eyes I see that I'm in a flipped over limo.
Where is everyone? Did we get into a crash? Why didn't anyone get me out?
Before I leave I check myself for any injuries.
Just a couple of cuts and bruises, that's not anything to freak out about. I'm lucky to be alive.
Making my way outside and the first thing I see are is the others carrying weapons while taking cover behind a dumpster. Glancing around at my surrounding I notice that some building are burning and some cars are flipped over, like the limo I was in.
Where am I? It can't be...
Before I could make a noise someone from behind me covers my mouth and pulls me to the ground. Without thinking, I elbow the person behind me but it gets blocked.
"Whoa! Feisty are we?" A deep voiced, British accented, person whispers.
That can only belong to-
Whipping my head around I see the one and only curly haired boy.
That doesn't make any sense... I just saw him over with the other boys...
'How'd you get here so fast?" I ask him but he ignores it and drags me towards the others cautiously.
"Nice of you to finally join us, Violet" Louis jokes as he passes me an assault rifle.
"Where'd you get this equipment? Why are we surrounded by rubble and burning buildings? What is going on?" I question them. They all lower their guns and look at each other nervously.
"Violet, we sort of-" Harry begins but is interrupted by a gunshot. Suddenly, everything seemed to slow down. Harry falls backwards and the look on his face was horrifying. It was a mix of surprise, pain, and sadness.
No, no... please no. Anything but this...
I dropped my gun and reached out my arm to catch him but was a split second late; my fingertips brushed his skin briefly. After Harry touches the ground, things went back to the normal pace.
"Harry!!" I screeched as I ran over to his side, putting pressure on the wound that was on his shoulder. The others looked around frantically for the shooter and once they spotted him, they open fired.
I dragged Harry into cover behind a taxi.
"Violet, go help the others. Don't worry about me." He tells me but I ignore it. I search my bag for the bandages that I always keep with me. Harry sighs and lays his head on the ground while closing his eyes, taking in deep breaths.
"There's no way I am leaving a wounded person's side." I say as I pull out the item I was looking for. As I wrap the bandage around the wound, I open my special packet of gummy bears carefully so Harry wouldn't see, and pop one in my mouth. Harry chuckles.
Out of the blue, everything went black and my body turns numb and cold. Pain shoots from different parts of my body as my ears fill with sounds of people's screams and not just anyone's screams. They were screams that were coming out of a certain boy band. I try to open my eyes but it feels as though they weighed a hundred pounds. The screams don't stop, no. It kept going and became filled with hurt.
