-Chapter 11- Noah

Violet's POV:

I rush outside, balancing the cups as best as I can. Using my body as a shield for the drinks, I brace myself for the cold droplets about to attack me.

My months of waitressing really help now...

The rain immediately drenches me but I ignore the little stinging feeling the raindrops create on the bare skin on my arms and legs. Walking up to the first group of girls, I lower the sever plate.

"Hey! Do you guys want some hot chocolate? It's my grandma's recipe!" I encourage them cheerfully, smiling brightly. The teens glance at each other before sending me worried looks.

"How do we know you didn't poison them?" One of them says, crossing her arms across her chest while still hold up an umbrella.

"Why would the boys want to poison their fans?" Their eyes widened.

"They made this?" Another asks giddily.

"Well, they signed them," I explain and everyone in the small little group reaches for one cup. Once they have one, they fangirl.

"Try it! It's really good!" A blonde one tells the others. Exchanging uncertain glances they eventually cave in.

"OMG! It is good!" A curly haired one compliments.

"Thank you! You know that the boys don't want you to stay out here? You can get sick!" I shout over the rain.

"Wait, do you know them personally?" A pretty brunette questions. I take a cautious step back.

"Like I said, they don't want you out here in the pouring rain." She stares at me for a second before backing off.

"If that's what my husband wants then fine. Can you give Harry my twitter name?" She gives me a sickly sick smile which I'm sure can seduce any male in its path.

"Er... Ok? I don't have pen and paper though..."

"It's fine! Brook, take that tray from her for a second," she orders the blonde.

"But Vanessa! That's gonna ruin my nails!" She whines but the brunette-who I assume is Vanessa-just rolls her eyes.

"Just do it!" She snaps. Brook takes the tray in my right hand and steps back. "Good girl," Vanessa smiles. Digging into her purse she finds a pen and snatches my arm and gripping it tightly.

"What are you doing?" I wince as she writes her name down on my forearm roughly.

"Brook, Luce, Wendy, do you want me to give them your twitter names too?" She ignores me and faces the others.

"DUH!" They shout. Vanessa nods and scribbles down their names too. When she's done I get my tray back and they leave without another word.

That was interesting...

I move onto another group of five who's younger than the first.

"Hello! Are you cold? I have some hot chocolate for you!" I say again. This time no one questions me and rushes to get one and gulps it down, grinning.

"Thank you Miss! That really warmed me up!" One smiles at me. She couldn't be much older than Nathan.

"Hey! It's signed too!" Another adds. I laugh at their excitement.

"THANK YOU!!" They all yell at the same time, pulling me into the middle of a group hug. Warmth fills me inside and out, making me forget about the pain that's left by the pen.
