-Chapter 1- Promotion
Violet's POV
Where is it? I swear it left it under my pillow last night! Oh no, oh no! I thought to myself. I let out a frustrated grunt as I lifted up my bedsheets and found nothing under them.
"Nathan!" I yelled whilst throwing my pillow across my already wrecked room.
The sound of foots steps become louder and louder rapidly. Finally. it stops as I hear Nathan stop outside my bedroom door.
"What is it?" He groggily asks, showing that my yelling has woken him up.
"Have you seen my phone? I lost it."
He scans the room before he steps forward. Walking around, he stops in front of my queen sized bed. Quickly, he gets onto his stomach and goes under the mattress.
"Here it is!" He shouts, holding up my misplaced item.
"Thank you! Now, I've already made breakfast for you and it's in the kitchen. Eat it while I go pick out your clothes for the day."
Nathan nods sleepily before running downstairs, ready to devour his meal. I rush into his room which is also a mess.
"Nathan!" I shout.
"Yeah?" He yells, his voice muffled by most likey the food.
"I'll be cleaning your room while your at school ok?"
"Sure, thanks Violet!"
"You're welcome but try to keep it clean this time!"
I sigh before rummaging through the piles of clothes on the floor and picking out some clean jeans and a t-shirt. I fold them neatly as I jog down the hall into the bathroom. I set down Nathan's outfit for the day onto the counter and rush back into his room, tidying it up before I hear him saying that he's ready to leave.
After I drop off Nathan at school I go home and I take a nice long shower. 25 minutes later, I feel refreshed and energized. I go downstairs and I fix myself some breakfast. Afterwards, I bring my plate into the living room and I turn on the TV. The first thing that comes on is an episode of Pokémon. Call me a nerd but I have to say I love Pokémon. I used to play it all the time to get my mind off of my life. Now I hardly have time for many epic battles because of work. Though, I like what I do for a living, I miss it from time to time.
Once I clean my plate, I turn off the TV and I go wash this morning's dishes. After, I go back upstairs and I brush my teeth then I go into my room to pick out today's outfit and clean up the mess I've made.
After I put everything back where it should be, I jog over to my closet. Opening the door, my eyes scan the clothes before settling on a blue shirt that hugs my body. I hum a song while picking up some black skinny jeans and a creme cardigan. As I put everything on, I reach over to the top of my dresser and head to the bathroom to apply makeup onto my face.
First, I put on some concealer and foundation, then some layers of mascara. Then, I fill in my eyebrows and apply some eyeshadow before finally finishing with some blush and pink lip gloss. I take a quick look in the mirror and I'm satisfied. As I look at the clock on the wall, I quickly brush out the knots in my hair. Putting on my black flat boots, I grab my brown handbag then I'm off to work.
