"I can't believe you are moving in with me!" Rosa exclaimed. Her purple hair bouncing up and down with her shoulders as she skipped down the street, her dark blue eyes shining with excitement. She wore a white tank top, a blue skirt and some black flats. "I am not moving in silly. Mother and I are just staying with you at your house for a bit while my mom and your dad go on a business trip for their online service or something." Rosa heard her best friend respond. Lilith Shadow had jet black hair with vibrant sky blue tips. She had styled it up in a ponytail preventing it from sheilding her emerald green eyes. She wore a red shirt and jeans topped with a black leather jacket. "You're basically moving in. Even if it is only for a small period of time." Rosa said, sticking her tongue out at her best friend. Lilith laughed at this. Rosa took Lilith by the hand and they ran the rest of the way to Rosa's house; Rosa dragging Lilith behind her the rest of the way. They arrived about 5 minutes later. Rosa's home was decently sized. It had 2 stories, with white exterior and sky blue trim with a baby blue roof that seemed to glow in the sunlight. The lawn was neatly kept and was home to a small patch of little white daisies. Rosa fumbled with her keys excitedly as she opened the door. The girls ran upstairs, after shouting a quick greeting to their dogs. They sped to a stop in front of the room that they would now be sharing . The walls were a light blue color with white trim. In the far left corner of the room there was a white bunk bed with stickers on the frame. Rosa slept on the bottom; her bed was littered with stuffed animals that had been gifted by relatives, and a mini mountain of pillows; whereas Lilith's bunk on top was more neatly made with only 3 stuffed animals sat on her pillow; a small creeper stuffie, a small brown stuffed dog, and a gray bunny. Next to the bed was a bookcase that took up the rest of the wall. It reached up to the ceiling and was filled to the brim with books ranging from fantasy and adventure books, to nonfiction history books and even a few manga and comic books toward the top. They chose to organize the books keeping the non fiction books towards the bottom and the fiction books up top. Rosa went to the desk they would now be sharing to do her homework while Lilith climbed up to her bunk to take a nap.
After around an hour or so of doing this, Rosa heard the front door open so she launched a stuffed dog at Lilith effectively waking the sleeping girl up. She then raced down the stairs to greet her mom with a tight embrace. "How was work?" Rosa asked, addressing both her mother and Mrs. Shadow who had just entered behind her mother. Lilith trailed behind greeting her mother with a fist bump. "Same old same old." Rosa's mom replied, as she fiddled with the bottom button of her black pantsuit. She began to fix the bright red ponytail that just barely contained all of her hair. Mrs. Shadow took her jet black hair out of its bun as she replied. "There actually wasn't too much of a mess in the cafeteria today, which is strange for a Friday night. Now excuse me but I really need to change out of this old janitors suit." With that, Mrs. Shadow made her way upstairs to change. Rosa turned to her mother and asked, " Hey Mom, do you need help with Dinner?" Mrs. Fauna responded with a nod as she and Rosa left to make dinner. Lilith smiled at the pair as they walked to the kitchen and went upstairs to finish her homework.
