The next morning I wake up to somthing ticking on the window. I look to the big clock on the wall opposite of me to see it is only 5am. I probably imagined it... so I lay back down and close my eyes again. But the ticking returned more persistend this time.

I rub my eyes and get out of bed. I walk to the window and open the thick green curtains.

On the other side of the glass, a white owl stands on the windowsill with a big envolope in his beak. I open the window and the animal flies in, drops the envelope on my bed and flies back out the window into the cool morning air.

I close the window again and sit down on the bed taking the letter. It is heavy and red and cealed with a big red lint. Slowly I pull one side to open it and in that moment it comes to life. It jumps out of my hands and opens mid air. To my surprize it unfolds into what looks like a paper mouth with big white teeth and a long tongue.

I sit frozen on the gigantic bed as the letter starts speaking with my fathers voice.

"Good morning Lena, I have heard that by now you have moved to Hogwarts. I have great regret that I could not be there to acopany you or at least explain my missteps and your past. Perhaps I shall find time to visit you sometime. For now, I do hope you will lay our differences aside and do your best not to bring the Luthor name any disgrace. As you are probably staying in the Luthor room, I will let you know there is money in all right drawers of the main closet. This money is yours as long as you do nothing to harm our great and noble familly name. Yours truly, Lionel Luthor."

The letter folded itself up and landed in my lap. Is this a joke?! 'Lay our diferences aside'!?! He muredered my mother!!! He lied to me for my intire life!!

I needed to do something so I would stop thinking about the horror that called himself my father so I decided to learn and practise more spells. The magic that I could feel flowing through me when I practized magic made me feel warm and relaxed. A couple hours later it was time for breakfast, and by then, almost everything in the room was flying or changed sizes. I could make object fly towards me by using 'acio', I could make my wand light up with 'Lumos' and turn off with 'nox'. I could also lock and unlock the door with 'alohamora'.

This whole magic and spells thing was a lot easier then I thaught it would be so with a new load of fresh confidence I walked towards the great hall locking the door behind me using alohamora.

I usually wasn't a big fan of uniforms but I quite liked the hogwarts Slytherin robes I was wearing right now. Holding my wand tight in my left hand, I entered the great hall. There were a lot of students and all I wanted was to go back to my room so I could learn more spells.

Followed by eyes and whispers, I decided to grab an apple and do just that.

It took a while to get there though. The castle was even bigger then it looked and the Luthor room was in the furthest part of the dangeons.

I rounded a corner and the air got knocked out of my longs. I expected to fall on the ground but surprisingly strong arms held me before this happened. I looked up and drowned in the blue eyes of my saviour.

"Oh rao I'm so sorry! Are you ok!?"

The cute blonde asked after helping me regaining my balance. Her hand was still on my shoulder though and the soft touch together with the genuinly concerned look she gave me were deffinitly enough for my cheeks to turn red.

"Yeah I'm fine thanks. I am sorry I wasn't looking were I was going."

She smiled before she got a confused look.

"Where were you going? Don't you have class?"

I looked to my watch on my wrist to see it was later then I thaught. I had to be in charms class in 7 minutes.
