Chapter 1: Shining Beacon, The Entrance Exam

    After the week long wait I was waiting for the airship with two other people that were going to beacon. “Hope using my powers won’t be too much trouble.” I said quietly to myself as I looked up to see the airship coming down to the platform. Once it landed I see that there was already a group in the airship so it just got a little bit more crowded. Once I was on I just moved towards the area that had less people in it. Once I got to the seat I just plopped down and turned to look out the window. “This view is amazing.” I said as I hear someone on the airship start yelling in excitement. “Oh, I can’t believe that my baby sister is going to me, this is the best day ever.” I hear as I looked to the source of the voice as I was surprised. “It’s Ruby, and that must be her sister.” I said as I smiled and just listened. “Please stop.” Ruby said through strained voice. I just laugh to myself. “But I'm so proud of you.” Her sister said as Ruby looked embarrassed. “Really sis it was nothing.” Ruby said as I stood up from my seat. “What do you mean it was incredible, everyone at beacon will think your the bee’s knees.” Her sister said as I started walking over to them. “I don’t want to be the bee’s knees, ok i don’t want to be any kind of knee’s I just want to be a normal girl with normal knees.” Ruby said as I was close enough to them for them to hear me. “Well you look like you got normal knees to me.” I said as Ruby and her sister turned to me and Ruby’s face lit up with a smile. “Oh Yang this is Curtis the one I told you helped me stop the robbery.” Ruby said as she zips over to me as the wind blows by me again and a few rose petals as well. “Curtis this is my older sister Yang.” Ruby said as I smiled and extended my hand. “It’s nice to meet you Yang.” I said as she took my hand shook it. “Nice to meet you as well Curtis.” Yang said as I turned to Ruby. “But Ruby as much as I hate it, she’s right it wasn’t exactly small since we went against.” I was saying I was cut off by a news report. “The robbery was lead by nefarious criminal Roman Torchwick, who continues to evade authorities, if you have any information on his whereabouts please contact the Vale police department, back to you lisa.” The man said as I looked to Ruby. “Well him.” I said as we focus on the news report again. It went on to say how a rally turned dark when the white fang showed up. “Great they are becoming a serious problem.” I said to myself as the screen turned off and a hologram of Ms. Goodwich appeared. “Hello, and welcome to Beacon.” She said as Yang leaned to me and Ruby. “Who’s that?” She asked as her answer was given to her. “My name is Glenda Goodwich.” She said as Yang said Oh and I just laughed. “You are among the privileged few who received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy.” She said as I smiled while she continued. “Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future huntsmen and huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it.” She said as I turned to Ruby and we smiled at each other. “You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge you need to protect our world.” She finished as she fades away and Ruby is surprised and runs to the window. “Wow, you can see signal from here.” She said as me and Yang walk up to her and we looked out the window. “I guess home isn’t too far after all.” Ruby said as Yang put her hand on her shoulder. “Beacons our home now.” Yang said as we hear someone having a hard time holding down their lunch. We turned around to see someone behind us with their hands in front of his mouth. “Well I guess the view isn’t for everyone.” Yang said as I laugh but I turned to see Yang had some puke on her boots. so I step back and away After a few seconds they finally noticed it and the two started freaking out as I was laughing.

    Once we landed Me, Ruby, and Yang all walked off the ship and then we stopped as we look to see Beacon. “Holy crap.” I said as I was amazed by how big beacon is. “View of vales got nothing on this.” Yang says as I nod in agreement and then Ruby gets super excited about a guy walking by. “Why is she so excited about him.” I said as she got so excited she becomes like a chibi. “Oh sis he has a collapsible staff.” She says as I finally realize why she’s excited. “She’s a weapon lover.” I said as a girl walks by and Ruby is excited once again. “Oh and she’s go a fire sword.” She says as she tries to float away but Yang grabs her. “Aw aw.” Ruby says as she is pulled back. “Easy there little sister their just weapons.” Yang says as Ruby looks to have taken offence to that. “Just weapons, their an extension of ourselves a part of us.” Ruby says as I laugh. “Well that’s one way to look at it.” I said as Yang begins to talk to Ruby. “Well why don’t you swoon over your own weapon aren’t you happy with it.” Yang says as Ruby pull her weapon off of her hip and extends it as I have to duck under her blade as it almost nails me in the head. “That was close.” I said as Yang laughs at me as I stick out my tongue at her. “Of course I’m happy with crescent rose, it’s just that I like seeing new ones, it’s like meeting new people but better.” She says as she swings her weapon down and I have to step back to avoid her blade again. “Ruby come on, why don’t you try to make some friends of your own.” She says as Ruby lifts her hood off of her head that Yang had pulled down before hand. “Well why would I need friends when I have you and Curtis.” She says as Yang hesitates. “Well my friends are actually here now, gotta go catch up later.” Yang says as she runs off with a group of people. “I’m not sure if those are friends or people that like to go along with lies.” I said as Ruby was confused as she was dizzy and she fell over before I had a chance to catch her as she crashes into a cart of luggage. “Oh crap, you ok?” I asked Ruby as I go to help her up as a voice was heard suddenly. “What are you doing?” Me and Ruby hear as I lift Ruby up. “Sorry.” Ruby says as the girl in white starts speaking again. “Sorry, do you have any idea of the damage you could have caused.” The girl says as I leaned down to pick up her luggage to help her when she snaches it from my hand. “Give me that.” The girl says as I did the only thing I could think of and just picked up another one. “This is dust mined and purified from the Schnee quarry.” The girls says as I finally get who this is. “Oh come on snow white calm down.” I said as she picks up a bottle of red dust and shakes it causing it  to send some of it out the bottle and towards Ruby. “Do not call me snow white, do you know who I am?” She asked as I just sigh when I get an evil idea and signal for Ruby to move back which she does. Once she was out of the way I sent a small spark out out from my hand to where only me and Ruby know of it and then an explosion happened sending me and Ruby flying back a little ways. I landed then Ruby landed on my somehow knocking the air out of me. “This is what I was saying could happen.” She says as I laugh. “You didn’t say anything about this.” I said sitting up. “You complete dolt.” She says as I stand the rest of the way up. “Ok one stop it and two just no.” I said as I didn’t realize until now Ruby was holding on to me with her arms and legs wrapped around me. “Um Ruby you can let go now.” I said as she realized what she was doing. “Sorry.” She says as I just signal that it’s fine. “Do you know who I am?” She asked as I was about to who she was someone beat me to the punch. “Weiss Schnee heiress of the Schnee dust company.” A girl with a bow on her head said as she walked up to us. Weiss was about to say something until I cut in. “Yeah really shady company.” I said as Weiss didn’t have anything to say taking the dust vial that was in her the other girls hand and walking away. “I promise I'll make this up to you.” Ruby yelled out as I laughed. “That was fun.” I said as I turned to talk to the other girl but she was already walking away. Suddenly I hear someone hit the ground. I turn to see Ruby on the ground. “Welcome to Beacon.” She says as I laughed then I see someone’s shadow. “Hi i’m Jaune.” The guy says as he helps Ruby up and then shakes my hand. “Wait aren’t you the one who vomited on the airship.” Ruby says as I laughed way too hard.
