He smiles at me and starts to dry his hair again. I go into the kitchen and grab a couple of water bottles and bring them over. He sneezes randomly and I jokingly say, "You said you wouldn't get sick!"

"Whoops," he says and laughs afterward.

"You lied to me," I joked to him, playfully hitting his arm.

He laughs more with me. I sit on the couch and he sits beside me when he finishes drying off his hair.

"So what do you wanna do?"

"I dunno," I say to him. "Don't you have to head home?"

"I never said I needed to," He said smiling.

He stayed for a couple of hours he decided to finally leave.

"Well it was nice spending time with you Y/N," he says getting up.

"It was," I say standing up.

He opens his arms for a hug, I accept it. We say our goodbyes before he walks out the door. I look to the couch to see he left his hoodie, does he always do this!? I laugh to myself and put it on the kitchen counter so I won't forget to give it to him when I see him.

I go to the bathroom and take a long, hot shower. When I finish I go to my room and turn on my fairy lights instead of the main lights. They illuminate a soft glow, I sit at my desk and start working on a sketch.

After hours pass, I roll my chair back, I take a deep breath in, and look to my window. The stars twinkle and the moon glows brightly. I walk closer to the window and take a seat on the window sill. I touch my hand to the cool glass and stare at the blanket of stars that cover the bright city. I breathe against the glass, it fogs it up for a second before fading into the way it looked before.

I stare a while longer before my eyes drift to the time. It's past 2 AM, I need to get some sleep. I get up from the window sill and close the curtains. I turn my fair lights down to the dimmest setting. I lay under my covers before slowly drifting into a dream that consumes the rest of the night.

I walked along a trail in a forest. I looked at the sky, but it was too bright. I look back to the trail and see a person at the edge. As I continue walking I am in n apartment, I see Corey standing in front of a window. I walk closer to him and look out the window, my home town?

"Sebring, Florida. It's beautiful," Corey said smiling.

"Yeah, it is," I responded.

A moment later we are outside and walking along the street. We arrive at my old high school and I see a group of my old friends. I look to my side to see Corey is not present, I don't acknowledge it. I run over to them and one of them exclaims, "Y/N!"

They all look to me and they all greet me. I give each of them a hug but it doesn't feel right. I walk away while they are having a conversation and find myself in the forest again. As I am walking I fall off of a cliff, getting closer and closer to the land below me...

My alarm goes off and I spring up. I look around to see myself in my room. I get out of bed and turn off my alarm. I yawn and stretch my arms out. I look at the clock and see it's a couple of minutes past 5.

I make my way to the bathroom and start my morning. I look at the sketch I was working on last night, well a couple of hours ago. I walk and grab my dream journal and quickly write the dream in the book. When I finish I start working on art again. I started doing the outlines of the drawing.

A couple of hours pass with me doing my art. I get a text from Corey.

Man Bun:

Wanna go to the café?

Y/N:

Sure, when?

Man Bun:

Be there in 15?

Y/N:

Sure

I start to get ready. What I mean by that is not look like complete garbage. I do my hair and put on a different set of pants, jeans. When I'm finished getting ready I have a bit over 5 minutes. I start to walk over to the café with my items and the jacket that he left. When I arrive I order myself a drink and Corey's.

I sit at our normal table and wait for him to come. I look at the time and see that he's 10 minutes late. Probably just LA traffic...

Another 10 go by, then 20, after it hits the half-hour mark I am starting to get annoyed. I stay for a bit longer, 45 damn minutes late. It's lunchtime. His coffee is cold. I get up and pick my and his cup up. I toss both of them out. I gather my items and storm back to my apartment.

I toss his jacket on the table along with my stuff. I got to my room and change out of them back to the clothes I was wearing earlier. I flop onto my bed for a while before deciding to get back to work. I grab my laptop and start working on my bed.

A couple of hours pass before I notice I left it in my bag. I go and grab it and go through Instagram stories. I stumble onto Corey's and see that he went shopping with a friend. What the fuck? I waited and waited for him.

I look to see he didn't even text back after. If he sent me a text saying he wouldn't be there I wouldn't care then.
