She watches as the clock hung in front of her tick away with a tick, tick, tick. Her leg bounces up and down in an anxious manner, sweat drops trickling down her forehead as she forces herself to keep calm. But as the clock continues to tick away, her anxiety begins to grow.
Scenarios of what will happen to Seorin comes and goes in her mind as she drowns in the silence inhabiting her room, each one with different endings, but they all had one thing in common, they were all dark and terrible, neither one good.
Hyejin lets out a shuddering breath as she covers her face, the clock's ticking echoing in her ears, reminding her that time is passing while she sits in her office, giving her no sense of peace at all. She feels restless as the clock keeps ticking.
