" Mom I don't wanna do this, Jason didn't hurt me or anything. Why do I have to be here? " She looked at me and held my hand
" Jason's a criminal Bryce , my son is a criminal. I know as his father I shouldn't say that but it's true. Your parents and I , also the police want to make sure you're okay " Brett looked at me then patted my head
" it'll be okay son, just be honest with them and this could be a one shot thing. If Jason didn't hurt you then why'd you come back? " My dad looked at me
" I wanted to come home, I missed being back home and Jaden is a mess he doesn't know anything about anything " Jaden walked over and sat infront of me
" Daddy " He smirked
" Son " I raised an eyebrow then a police officer walked up to us
" I'm Chief Craig Masters , I and my fellow police men and women will be evaluating everything that's been going on for the past few years. Will you and your son please come with me? " I nodded
" Come on Jaden " He stood up and grabbed my hand then walked with me inside
" We're going to sit you at the front of the table to make everything easier and we will be video and voice recording this evaluation just for reference "
" Okay that's fine " I sat down and sat Jaden on my lap
" I'm officer Stephanie McKay and I'll be starting off today here. When and where did you last see Jason McCann?"
" 1 1/2 to 3 days ago in the submarine"
" Submarine? Why were you guys on a submarine? "
" We were just having a normal day on the island we've been on for like 3 maybe 4 years and we saw helicopters and ships just approaching us as they were saying " come out we know you're in there " so we had to pack everything real quick and go to the submarine in the basement "
" Okay so whoever approached scattered all three of you away? "
"Yes "
"One last thing , how long were you in the submarine for? "
" Quite a while, maybe a few months the least I'm not too sure "
" Okay thank you "
" I'm Officer Blair Jacobs , has Jason physically hurt you or your son ever during the years you've been together and since he was born? "
" No never has , Jaden goes about his business and his business only. Jason hasn't been tempted to hit him or me for no reason or for a reason. "
