Sextuplets

Chapter 3

*February 14th 2014 Katelyn's Pov*

I wake up and look around my dirty room. I don't see any clothes I want to wear to school today, it is valentines day after all, I do want to look cute, especially since Emmett is in my third hour. He's so cute and I want him to be my boyfriend. He has eyes for Lacey though, she's the popular girl at my school and she's just so annoying.

I pick out a white sweater and red leggings, along with my white converse. I go to the bathroom and start brushing my teeth. Once I am done with that I start to curl my hair. All of a sudden the door bursts open and Michael, Shawn, Ryder, Carter, and Blake all come barging in. I drop the curling iron and it hits the side of my neck. "AGHHHHH" I scream

"you assholes made me burn myself" I grunt at them. Carter and Ryder slowly back out of the bathroom before running back to their rooms, Blake and Shawn back up in the other direction cornering themselves, Michael slowly lifts up the toilet seat and starts taking a poop. I roll my eyes in disgust at him and grab a washcloth to put on my neck. At least my hair was almost done. I tell Shawn to do my last curl since he always does hair with me. He reluctantly listens and I walk out of the bathroom and back to my room. I do my makeup and grab my backpack. My brothers are so annoying. I look at the time and realize I have two minutes until the bus comes, I walk out the door with Blake and we walk to the bus stop.

"Sorry about your neck" he says moving my hair and looking at the burn. I smack his hand away "don't talk about it" I groan. Blake rolls his eyes at me and then the rest of my brothers run up to us. "When is the bus getting here" Carter asks us.

"We know as much as you dumbass" Shawn spits back

"shut up" a girl yells at all of us as we continue to yell at eachother "shut up" she yells again but louder, we all stop and turn. Her face immediately turns red. "uhm sorry, I don't mean to come off rude, I was just
getting a headache. I'm Dayna it's nice to meet you" She reaches out a hand to shake ours. This girl is really pretty, she has long brown hair and pretty green eyes. She has braces and a cool backpack.

"cool backpack" i tell her "my names Katelyn"

"you're pretty" I look behind me and Shawn is literally drooling.

"I saw her first"Carter yells

"No i did" and the arguments between the boys continues.

"Sorry about them, they're my annoying brothers" I sigh

"all of them?" she asks

"we're sextuplets" I say with sarcasm dripping off my tongue with an excited look painted on my face. She nods giving the same face back.

"you seem really nice though, I just moved here and don't have any friends yet, can I sit with you?" She asks as the bus pulls up.

"Of course" I smile back at her.

We get in the bus and head to school. I looked at Dayna's schedule on the way there and we have third hour, fourth hour and sixth hour together. It's a small school so it'd make sense.

*third hour*

Dayna and I walk in together and immediately separate as I walk to my seat and she goes over to Mrs. Emerson. They continue talking and Mrs. Emerson tells her to sit in any open seat available. Theres a spot open at my table diagonal from me, hopefully she takes it. She does. Michael and Carter walk in with Emmett and Lacey. Lacey looks at Carter and smiles and gives him a hug before she goes to her seat, Carter gives her a weird look before he sits down. "Happy Valentines Day" she mouthed from across the room with a big smile. He nods and looks away with a grossed out look on his face. Lacey tries for every guy, it's her reputation.

Emmett takes his seat at my table right across from me. I smile at him and he smiles back at me. "Happy Valentines Day Katelyn" he sends me an smug look. "Can I talk to you at lunch today?" He asks, I nod and feel the heat rush to my cheeks, I look at Dayna and giggle as she wiggles her eyebrows. Michael takes his seat next to me and looks at all of us confused. "Emmett are you still coming over after school?" he asks. Whaaaat? Emmett is coming over to my house after school. Crazy. Emmett nods and we all start to ask Dayna about herself.

After class I start to walk away before Emmett stops me.

"Katelyn could I ask you something?" he asks and I can feel my eyes light up as i'm thinking he's going to ask me out. We have been talking every day in class and I think it's finally going to happen. "Can you set me up with Dayna? She's really pretty" he asks. My spirit immediately died. No soul left in my body. My heart was shattered. I feel my eyes start to water, I nod quickly and walk away. I turn around and see him happy dance as he makes his way to his friend group.

What a let down. This Dayna girl is going to cause me trouble. I find her and tell her everything and she looks at me confused. "wow, I must be dumb, I thought you were into him?" she laughs. I look down. "you are, aren't you?" she asks. I nod with my head still hanging low.  "I don't want him then" She says and I look up with the confused look on my face now. "why?"

"you're my first friend here, no boy is going to come between us, especially this early, you remind me of my best friend right before I moved here so I know you're a keeper" She sends me a wink attached to a laugh. A smile creeps its way onto my face and We walk to lunch together. I get to my lunch table which includes all of my brothers, their friends, and my two friends, Callie and Hailey, Callie has short brown hair and cute glasses. Hailey has blonde hair, brown eyes and is a little chubby. She's still a goddess though. I'm just painting a picture, she's beautiful.

"Callie, Hailey, this is Dayna, she's new here" I introduce them and then I get the tables attention. "Everyone this is Dayna, Dayna this is Michael, Emmett, Luke, Dawson, Mikey, Shawn, Cameron, Lacey, Blake, Riley, Ben, Carter, Ryder, and Julian" Everyones exchanges hellos and continue talking.
