Chapter 4

*present day Katelyn's POV*
"Mom we need a bigger house" I yell at my mom as Ryder locks the door to the bathroom and I am last in line to get in.

"dancing in the mirror, singing in the shower" We all hear Ryder singing horribly while he showers.

"Shut it Katelyn, make it work" my mom just got home from the night shift she just had and really wants to sleep. oops. I see a girl walk out of Carter, Shawn and Michael's room. She looks high as hell. I roll my eyes as she cuddles up to Carter while he waits in line, playing with his long hair, it's the same length as mine and it's truly disgusting at this point. I look at Carter and think how annoying he is. Him and His girlfriend are both baked out of their mind. Michael looks like he didn't get any sleep last night, he turns to me. "They kicked me and shawn out of our own room last night, I slept on the f*cking couch, i'm so mad" He rants to me. What a dumbass. Carter needs to find a girl thats good for him, all he does now is mess around with girls and do drugs. He's a complete stoner, he barely goes to school and he's honestly messing up his life at this point. Mom starts to walk up the stairs and she sees the girl.

"Uhm Carter, who's this?" Carter froze and looked at the girl.

"Amanda" she grunted after realizing he doesn't know her name.

"Hi Amanda, nice to meet you, put some clothes on and get out" my mom says before storming past her and heading to her room to sleep. Amanda looks at us all with a shocked look on her face.

"Carter tell your mom to not treat your girlfriend that way" she says in her nasally voice. Carter rolled his eyes. He points to the door "leave" she picked up her things from his room and left. Michael, Blake, and Shawn all looked at me and we all laughed

"ha ha very funny"carter says rolling his eyes.

"what is that the 4th this week?" Michael asks him.

"better than what you get, ay?" Carter fires back. Carter is a nuisance at this point.

"Carter you seriously have too many girls over" Michael says back

"you have Lacey over all the time, why are my girls any different?" Carter asks

"Lacey is Michael's girlfriend, they've been dating for over a year, we have all known her forever, it's pretty different" Shawn butts in.

"Whatever" Carter rolls his eyes again and leaves the line.

"That boy has got some issues" Blake states while sighing, "glad I don't sleep with him" he adds while patting on both Shawn and Michaels shoulders with a big smile on his face. Shawn and Michael have a look of pure annoyance across theirs.

Ryder finally leaves the bathroom and he's not wearing anything but grey sweatpants. It's a thing around this house. My brothers seem to forget I exist. "yo mom" Ryder calls out to mom.

"whaaaat" anger and annoyance sound in her voice

"can I have friends over today?" he asks

"sure just let me sleep" she snaps back

"but wait mom, i'm having the guys over tonight" Blake calls out. Blake has the hottest friends. So does Ryder to be honest. They are both in the popular group for our grade and it's so nice when they have people over. I get some good eye candy.

"everyone can have friends over just stop annoying me" Mom yells back. We all look at eachother and cheer. Looks like we're having a party tonight.

After finally being able to get ready I head downstairs to eat breakfast. Carter has cereal, eggs, bacon, pancakes, oranges, grapes, toast, and Chocolate milk. He must be getting the munchies already. Michael has Toast and eggs. Ryder has cereal along with the rest of my brothers. I join them in the cereal chain and pull out my fruit loops. The box is empty. I look at all the bowls and realize Ryder ate the last of my fruit loops.
