Dani Phantom: Into the Zone

Chapter One

It was a long day at Casper, the day had just been dragging on and on. Dani had to leave class multiple times due to a ghost. First Skulker decided to show up during first block that took almost the whole class up until the last ten minutes when Kitty and Johnny decided to create some havoc without actually having a lovers quarrel, second block was Spectra and Bertrand which took the whole block, then at lunch Ember showed up, third block the Box Ghost and the Lunch Lady teamed up, after that Dani had to empty the thermos, the one that her, Sam, and Tucker created to create more room and make it more comfortable for the ghosts, of course, they safely tested it. During fourth block, Dani thought she could actually catch a break before Klemper showed up.

Klemper only took about five minutes to capture, which she was thankful for. Once she was done capturing Klemper the Box Ghost showed up again and that took longer than expected and by the time she actually captured him fourth block was almost over, five minutes left when she walked in. The thing is though as soon as she walked in Lancer was discussing their Senior field trip.

"...this year's field trip is going to be a trial run, especially for one class in particular. The class that happened to be chosen, is this one. We get to go to the ghost zone, all of your parents have already filled out the permission slips so after class there will be an informational meeting for you kids."

Lancer's announcement causes cheers to go throughout the classroom, all except the trio that is. Even Valerie was cheering for some odd reason and she absolutely despises ghosts. Most of the people in the class were only happy about the fact that they get to see where the infamous ghost girl lives, Dani Phantom. Valerie could have been cheering about the fact that her father's letting her go or that she could get her revenge.

When the bell finally rang everyone was excited to get to know more about the trip. Lancer said that the mayor approved the trip and that the Fenton's were going to lead it. Lancer even said that a few guys from the GIW were going to come for maximum safety. In her mind, Dani was silently screaming, the reason being the GIW and her 'parents' have a ghost tracker, so that could easily make them believe that she' s possessed by a ghost or that she is one. It's not exactly like Jack or Maddie will stand up for her either, they care too much for finding out about ghosts, they won't care whether they harm their daughter to find the truth.

The only positive about this trip is that Sam and Tucker were going to be there with her. With Sam and Tucker by her side, she can accomplish anything, with their help she was able to defeat Pariah, Undergrowth, and Dark Dan. Just thinking of them gives her strength, they're the reason she fights to live. Sam and Tucker are always there for her and know when something's off, they're there when she has to deal with the bullies and there supporting her against the ghosts, when her powers go wrong, when her parents don't care, and when she's being majorly moody, they still stand by her and will always. Those two boys are her family more so then Jack and Maddie her only family by blood is Jazz.

Jazz is off at college though and she hasn't been home and when she calls she only calls Dani. She doesn't even bother talking to Jack or Maddie. They wouldn't bother to put their science experiments down long enough to talk. They spend all of their hours down in the lab or trying to catch a ghost. They wake up at 4:30 and go to bed at midnight or later sometimes. They always fail to capture the strongest of them all, that just happens to be their own daughter. Their own flesh and blood manages to evade them.

If the Fenton's seem tired that's because they are but they still work down in the lab, trying to find out all ghost secrets, every time they fail. The only way they'll actually learn about ghosts is if they put aside their differences with them and actually talk they'll learn a great deal about them. That's how Team Phantom did it, it's how they learned about a lot of things.

While the adult Fenton's and the GIW took the more violent way of doing things, the trio took the more peaceful way. While Dani is great ghost fighter she would rather talk the ghosts into the ghost zone first before cramming them into the thermos. She knows from experience that it sucks which is the reason for the new thermos.

The new thermos is a much better design, it's black and has the white DP symbol on it. The new thermos has more space so it's more comfortable and has a higher capacity than the Fenton Thermos. All of the ghosts seem to like it a lot more too.

Anyway back to Lancer's boring field trip announcement. He said that the chaperones were going to come and that they could sit and talk quietly while they waited for the chaperones and leaders to arrive.

The Fenton's arrived first and proceeded to embarrass Dani by actually pretending that they knew everything about her. Paulina and Dash did not help matters, they asked the Fentons about more interesting facts. Dani wasn't really phased by it though, it may have been meant to be embarrassing but it wasn't. You see as soon as the trio graduated they plan to permanently live in the ghost zone. Away from everyone and all the drama.

Dani and Sam would be crowned king and queen and Tucker would be their second in command.

A/N: This is unedited, I don't think that I would ever come back to this and fix it, this might just stay as is and then I'll make a new story with it pretty close to this if I haven't already.  I've written many of these attempts and I don't know if I could ever come back to them.  These stories are my oldest ones so I have lost most of my inspiration for them and haven't looked at them in a while.
