After he impressed Mr. King, Marquis became my co-star, much to my dismay.

"Hello monsieur Mulligan." He said. "I cannot wait to get to know you." He smiled. That damn smile took me off guard. It was sweet and innocent. He had braces on, and there were a couple of gaps in his teeth. It was dorky and cute and-wait. Did I just say that it was cute!? What the fuck, why would I say that!? I-it's not cute, he's not cute, nothing is cute!

"Uh, it's nice to meet you too, Marquis." I said. He gave me a confused look. "What?" I asked.

"No one calls me Marquis except for my mother." He said. "Just call me Lafayette."

"Lafayette? Uh, s-sure." I agreed. I then noticed his accent. Oh, that accent. Elegant and adult and so, so...uh...a-annoying? Y-yeah, let's go with annoying. He smiled that dorky smile. I blushed. "U-uh, wh-What are you doing tomorrow?" Lafayette shrugged.

"Nothing, why?" He asked.

"Well, do you wanna, I don't know, have lunch tomorrow?" I asked. God, I'm an idiot! Why!? Why!? Why!?
Lafayette smiled and nodded. "Sure!"
