"Who are you texting?" Laf asked, glancing above my shoulder.
"My soulmate." I sighed dreamily. "I met him at the grocery store the other day, and he gave me his number."
"Oh?" Laf commented. "Is he cute?"
"Smoking." I replied, not taking my eyes off my phone. I looked at Laf. "Wanna see a picture of him?"
Laf looked confused. "You already have a picture of him?" I nodded. "Stalker much?"
I looked at him, annoyed. "Dude, really? He sent me the pic willingly." I said, pulling up a picture of Alex wearing glasses and looking bored. You can see that he's writing a paper through the reflection, explaining the bored expression.
Laf whistled. "Damn, he's hot." He nudged Herc, who was sitting next to me. "Looks like you got some competition, mon amour."
Herc rolled his eyes, looking at the picture. "Personality determines character, Laf, not looks."
Laf smiled and kissed Herc on his forehead. "True, but I wouldn't mind it if you were a bit more good looking."
Herc scoffed. "Why do you think I got a hot boyfriend?" He said. "You can be hot for the two of us."
I rolled my eyes. "You two are annoying."
Laf smirked. "Just wait until that Alex of yours is your boyfriend. You'd want to be all on him too."
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah right."
