After the play, Laf (yes, I said Laf) and I started hanging out a whole lot more, making Laurens a bit jealous.

"Hey, Mulligan," Laf started, sitting down at the table. Laurens was stuck in the Library studying for a stupid history test. "I have a question." I noticed that Laf's face was getting a bit red.

"Yeah?" I said.

"How do I get a guy to like me?" He asked, face red.

Wait, was he gay? Who does he like!?

"Er, just like everyone else." I replied. "Start with his interests, and see what the two of you like. Maybe be his friend, if possible. Though, it's not a guarantee that he'll like you back."

Laf nodded and sipped his drink. "W-well..." His face was really red now, it was cute. "We like drama, er, drama class I should say. And we're already friends, he's probably one of my closest friends, actually. Though, I hate how his friend intrudes in us." He said.

Wait, d-does he mean? Clearly not.

"Actually, I'm happy that he's stuck in the library today, because I get to spend time with him, alone..."

Holy shit, he does mean me! I felt my face burn.

"L-Laf..." I muttered.

He sighed. "I should've known, you don't like me, do you?"

"Wh-What, n-no, o-of course I like you!" I said. "I've liked you ever since I first met you, though I wouldn't admit it at first."

Laf blushed. "R-really?"

I smiled. "Of course! Your eyes, gah, I could swim in them! Your smile, quiet and shy, could light up the dark room in an instant. And your accent...oh, your accent! Every time I hear you say a single word, my heart just...melts..." I said dreamily. I didn't even realize who I was talking to until...

"M-mon ami..." Laf uttered, face red. I felt my face go red.

"H-heh, s-sorry. I completely forgot that you were here." I said shyly.

Suddenly, Laf grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me across the table. Next thing I knew, our lips were touching, that fire, that heat, returned. I don't know how long we kissed, I don't think it was long, but I didn't care. It felt like an eternity to me, and it was amazing.

"L-Laf..." I uttered after we pulled away.
Laf looked down in his lap, shyly.

"S-sorry...mon amour..." He then started getting redder and redder.

"You felt the fire, didn't you?" I asked. "When we kissed?"

Laf looked at me. "You felt it too?" I nodded. Laf chuckled, blushing a little bit. "My mother once told me that once I shared a kiss with my soulmate, I'd know it. There would be a shock, or a....fire..." Laf and I looked at each other, blushing.

"Does this mean?" I asked. Laf nodded. "Heh, I guess I might as well ask you if you'd like to be my boyfriend."

Laf smiled. "I'd love to."

Yay, finally a long one! I actually deleted an entire sentence bc it didn't make any sense, and it didn't really affect the length that much!

Also, yay, boyfriends!
