he knows i like him. but he wont make a move. i wonder when hes going to do somthing.

i was walking in the halls when i passed by benny. "hey benny wanna eat lunch with me?" i asked. "sure." he said and walked into class.

lunch came and i walked in the lunch room to see benny eating lunch with wil and river. i walked over and sat with them. they looked at me and smirked.

"come on wil lets go get our lunch." said river as he eyed benny and i. my eyebrows furrowed.

"so lay, ive been meaning to ask you to the dance next week." he said smiling at me. "really. i honestly didnt think you would." i said in honest shock.

benny and oi talked for longer as the boys came back and sat down once again. "guys did you find dates already?" i asked as my friends didnt.

"no but we were just gonna get pizza and show up late." said wil resting his head on his closed fist. "oh really cuz amanda and may wanted to go with you." i added.

"really?! come on riv lets go!" said wil as he dragged river to the girls table to ask them out.

benny and i laughed and got up to throw our garbage away. we walked out to the hallway and to our lockers. "i dont mean to put you on the spot but do you have feelings for me?" i asked.

"yes, lay. why would i ask you to the dance if i didnt like you?" he asked as if it were the obvious answer. "because i was your only option?" i asked opening my locker to get my books.

"you werent. 4 other girls asked me and i said i already had a date. this was last month. before to told me you liked me." he said very convincingly.

"thank you. for waiting for me to admit that i like you." i said and hugged him.

he hugged back and kissed my cheek.
