wyatt put his shoes on and we were on our way. "why did you bring a back pack?" he asked. "is this for a picnic?" he asked again. "no. kind of. shut up." i said as he laughed. he grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers.

"you're hyping this up to much babe. this better be as good as you say." he said jokingly. i looked at him. "i told you this is something you've wanted." i said. and suddenly it was as if he got an idea. "oh my- is this that walk ive been wanting to go on?" he asked.

i turned to him and smiled. "you got me." i said with a teethy grin. "then whats the bag for?" he asked. "theres food. but only because theres a spot i want to go to. its pretty far but i found it with ondrea last month." i answered as i squeezed his hand slightly.

while he was at work yesterday i set some stuff up for him there. the spot is almost never visited so i wasnt worried about someone stealing the stuff i left. i of course drove because its far and takes an hour to get there and one hour back plus an hour to set everything up.

"i hope you like it. ive been thinking about how i would set it up since you told me you wanted something so simple." i said explaining. "babe, its simple. what did you need to think about. its just a walk in the park. literally." he giggled.

i sighed. "i dont want it to be boring simple. i want it to look and feel simple but leave you in awe." i said smiling at him knowing he'd love it. he'd sit there just like i said in awe. "but you pretty much just told me it was more than a little simple walk and picnic." he replied.

i rolled my eyes. "would you just shut up and enjoy it?" i said a little frustrated. he smiled. "you're adorable. i love you." he said giggling at my idiotic choice of words.
