Chapter 19: The Results Are In

I stared down at all three tests, all saying the same thing.

Negative.

In one way I was over the moon, starting a family for me is something that is way down the line. However I now feel like a fool for making such a mess with Bas. At this point I dont even know why I'm angry at him. I dropped a bombshell on him and expected him to react rationally.

I quickly grabbed my phone and looked at the time. Andy usually calls me when he is allowed. So I guess I just have to wait for him to get in contact with me and then I can talk to Bas.

I called Jesse though...

"Its negative, I'm not pregnant!........yes I know I told you you could come with me tomorrow but....yeah...uh huh I'm sorry....ok.....you'll be back from work at 6?.....perfect.....see you then, bye" I hung up the phone and decided to have a day to myself, Jesse wouldn't be back until 6 and I wasnt expected back at work.

So I walked down to the park and went for a run. It was great to clear my mind, I was going over stuff for work but once again Bas popped into my mind. I was sweating hard so I sat down on a bench and thought about it.....

I thought about the fight, I thought about how we both were not ready for a baby, we both took it out on eachother, I regret it...I hope he does too, well he regrets our relationship....

And in the end I'm not fucking pregnant....

"Fuck you universe!" I shouted as two people walked by, they sped up a little to get away from me..

"Oh no I'm so sor...." but they were already gone.

Just then my phone started to ring, I fumbled to get it out of my coat. I answered it straight away..

"Hello!"

"Hey sis, how are you?"

"Hey Andy, I'm fine, I'm just at the park going for a run"

"Wow what's on your mind? You only go for a run when something is stressing you out"

"That's not true...I run all the t....well
..oh crap, you're right. Whatever..."

"So what's stressing you out?"

"Nothing, forget about it, it's no longer a problem, how are you?"

"Alright if you say so. I'm fine, it's very hot over here, I'm might fry....haha" Andy and I talked for a few more moments, he can never talk for too long.

"Oh and tell Jesse that I miss her so much and she can send me nudes anytime she likes hahaha"

"Andy you have to know that those words will never come out of my mouth while I'm talking to my best friend..." I said as I rolled my eyes.

"Well just casually bring it up in conversation, can't be that hard" he said.

"How is Bas?" I said in a really mellow tone.

"He hasn't stopped mopping since we got here but don't worry, me and a few of the boys are vowing to get him laid before the week is up" he laughed

"...oh great....ha...that will be.....nice" I said, shutting my eyes so tight as I said the words.

"Hahaha yeah I'll let him know you asked. Ok I actually have to go, I'll call you when I can, love you sis"

"Love you too bro" I said.

"That was Leah on the phone, she asked how you are getting on" Andy said to me as I walked into the room.
