After I got Tyler’s ice cream and all the boys got their ice cream, they had finally taken me to the park. I brought the cone to Tyler, who was still sitting on the swings, watching his old ice cream melt,
“Sorry it took so long, buddy. The boys started chatting.”
“Its okay. Thank you, Charrie.” He said politely. My dad walked over,
“Where have you been?” He wasn’t sounding stern at all, just a bit worried,
“I was picking ice cream up for Tyler. The boys over their gave me a lift.” My dad looked to make sure he knew them, then waved at Riley,
“Are you going back with them?” He asked,
“No. They just gave me a lift.”
“If you want, you can. I'll take care of the tikes from here.” My dad treated those two like they were his own sons,
“Are you sure that’s okay, dad?” I did want to go with them, but I wasn’t sure if my dad was just going on a guilt trip,
“Yeah, I'm sure. Go ahead! Have fun!” Then he paused, “But not too much fun...” I smiled,
“Thanks! I love you!” I gave him a quick hug, and blew kisses at the tikes, then I ran for the car,
“Why are you guys still here?” I asked Shane,
“Because now you're coming with us. Right?” Wow. This situation was really that predictable?
I laughed,
“Yeah, I’m coming.” Shane opened his door and let me sit on his lap again, then we drove off.
The car ride consisted of loud music, laughing, and farting. These boys may be physically sixteen, but they were mentally eleven,
“So now what?” I really was confused. Usually when I hung with them, we just sat at edge of the woods by Market street. We drove past that in the first few minutes of the ride. It wasn’t until just then that I noticed we were driving towards my house,
“Umm... Guys? Where are we going?”
“Road trip!” They all shouted at once,
“What!?” I screamed, “What are you talking about!?”
“Well, we decided yesterday that we are going to take a random road trip!” Greg explained,
“So now you need to pack up some stuff, so we're running to your house quickly. Kay?”
My mind blurred,
“And you thought I'd be okay with this!? You can't just make me go with you!”
“Please, Char?” Riley made a puppy dog face, “Its only for a week. Maybe a bit longer, if we're having too much fun.”
I calmed down a bit,
“My parents aren't going to let me do this.”
“Don't tell them right away. Text them when you're already a few miles distance. That’s what we're doing.”
“And when did whatever you all do become the right choice? Hmm?”
Riley hesitated,
“That’s what I thought.” I smirked. This did sound like fun, though. I would so be grounded when I got back, but I guess that’s kinda why they thought we might stay longer,
“Okay. I'll do it. I tell my mom that I'm staying at your house,” I pointed at Riley, “And then I'll text her tomorrow.”
The car was filled with cheers,
“But wait. No offense, Shane, but I don’t want to sit on your lap the whole trip.”
“Non taken.” He said, laughing, “No offense, but I don’t want your boney ass to be sitting on my this whole trip!”
This time I laughed.

We got to my house pretty quickly after my answer, and I went in and told my mom I was staying with Riley(She was fine with it because Riley and I have been best friends since we were two).
I ran up the stairs to my room. The ugly pink walls reminded me how much my mom wanted me to be a little princess, instead of the un-girly girl I am today.
My army green school bag was on my desk, still filled with papers, so I dumped it out onto my bed. I filled the bag with cami's, shorts, socks, underwear, and other necessities. That bag could hold a lot more then I thought it could. I even packed two pairs of skinny's, and they barely took up any room, never the less my brown and blue plaid pj's. I started out the door, but then remembered two last things.
Pillow and a sleeping bag(The guys could be unpredictable sometimes. I had to be prepared if they made me sleep in the woods.),
“Bye mom! I love you!” I yelled while running out the door, grabbing my keys.
When I got out, Tony was already standing by my old black truck,
“Oh no, no, no. You are NOT driving with me.” I said sternly. He smirked,
“Oh yes, yes, yes I am.”
“Only if you wanna die!” I waved my fist at him,
“You couldn’t hurt a fly.”
“You'll find out very soon what I can hurt.” Loud laughter came from inside Riley's Impala,
“You guys laugh to much!” I yelled. This just made them crack up more,
“I promise I’ll be nice, Char. We all made a deal that we'd switch off every break we have.”
That was fair enough, but I didn’t say anything. I just threw my stuff in the trunk bin, locked it, then got into the car, followed by Tony.
