"Yeah I honestly don't even care anymore. Not saying I don't care about him, but I don't care about the relationship anymore," I vented to Gia over the phone. I thought me & Richard's break up was going to make me sad, but I honestly felt nothing. I was fed up with the way Richard has been treating me & I refuse to let him bring anymore tears to my eyes. "I ain't mad at cha Ri. I mean at some point you gotta draw the line & you know as long as you're happy, I'll always support whatever decision you make. Have you told Alexis?" She asked making me roll my eyes.
"No, she doesn't have time for me. She was the one saying she wanted to spend time without the guys this summer, but she runs around with Dominic all day everyday." It was true, Alexis hasn't spent any time with me which isn't too surprising because she's always with D. I was over everybody at this point, & the only solid person m in my circle right now was Gia. Though she moved, we talked on the phone a lot.
"Yeah I peeped her insta stories," Gia said.
Before I could respond I heard knocking at my door. "Ugh I'll call you tonight. I love you," I said. "Love you too. Call me back," she said before we hung up. I got up & opened the door seeing Dominic & Alexis standing there.
"What's up?" I asked trying not to sound irritated.
"What do you take that class for bestfriend? The one you requested," Dominic asked.
"Pharmacy Technician? It's just for my elective credits," I said.
"Told you," Alexis said.
"Why?" I asked.
"I need you to tell me what this prescription is. I'm too scared to look it up," Dominic said handing me the pill bottle. I opened the door wider so they could come in while I walked over to my notebook.
"Tenofovir," I mumbled while scamming through my lists. My mouth dropped & I felt a lump form in my throat.
"D..... this is HIV treatment," I said making his & Alexis eyes widen.
"So my mom got HIV from Eric?" He asked with his voice cracking.
"Guys... he raped me without a condom," Alexis said making tears immediately fall from my eyes.
"Ri.... I gave Alexis head. What does that mean?" He asked making me gasp.
"WHAT!?"
"Not now Ri," Alexis said wiping her eyes making me get back into serious mode.
"Okay if Alexis has it that means you could too since it's sexually transmitted. We need to make you an appointment at the clinic NOW!" I said to Alexis before grabbing my phone off the bed. Dominic & Alexis began to talk while I made her appointment online.
"I can't believe this is happening right now," Alexis cried. I sighed & hugged her while rubbing her back.
"We can go in tomorrow Lex lets just hope for the best," I said.
"I'll be there too," Dominic said before also hugging her.
