Chapter 16

-AT THE POLICE STATION-

Y/N and Corbyn sat in a dark room with a camera facing the both of them, recording whatever they say. 2 policemen also sat opposite them to ask them questions about what happened and Y/N showed the texts. The police noted down the number and began tracking it, while the other continued asking everything that happened in detail before they arrived. At times, Y/N was on a verge of tears and wanted to stop, but Corbyn grabbed her hand and nodded to her, once again giving her the courage to continue. After an hour, the police let them go and told them that they will update them if Alexis is arrested but for now, they had to be alert. Corbyn and Y/N left the police station to head for the hospital...

-AT THE HOSPITAL-

Zach, Jonah and Jack paced around outside the operation room, clearly nervous about Daniel's safety. They knew it will take a lot longer as they just got here, so there was no point wasting their energy. Instead, they sat against the wall outside and took a break while waiting for Y/N and Corbyn to arrive. The doctors haven't updated them on Daniel which worries them a lot, the first and last update they got was that the bullet shredded through his body and he got shot in the lungs and that he needed to go through an operation or he will not survive. Y/N and Corbyn finally reached the hospital and ran to the rest of the boys who were already waiting outside the operation room.

Y/N:is he okay?

C: We don't have any updates so far so I guess we'll just have to wait...

Y/N: This is all my fault...

Jo: How is this in any way your fault?

Y/N: Idk... Daniel was trying to help me out... and I guess it didn't go well

Z: No Y/N this is not your fault, don't blame it on yourself

Y/N: I think I should give Mrs Seavey a call... be right back

Y/N walked away from the boys to a bench outside to call Keri
