" come on oak! i'm only here for a week before i go back home and the week i'm here they have their new york show! " lilly protested as she fell onto my bed.

she got out for the summer in early may and drove to new york city before going back home for the summer. we would usually go home together yet she somehow was able to finish her damn exams before me and happily be done with school for good. me on the other hand had two more full weeks.

" lilly you know i'd love to but i'm still actually in school unlike you who got out already. plus the shows friday and i have class, and where are you even gonna cough up the tickets " i rolled over looking at her. funny thing about it was we even had queen ll playing at the moment. yea mott the hooples were good in all but we would be going for them. she gave me a cheesy smile after my questions.

" they were at our local bookstore, cmon! it'll be so fun! me, you, just dancing having the time of our lives " i just looked at her, " you and i both know they're gonna make it big. what if it's the only time we get to see them live- " i cut her off.

" what if it's the only time you'll be able to see the infamous brian may in real life " i said sarcastically getting up from my bed. she sat up in my direction.

" oh be quiet! it's their first time in the US and they're coming here. please oak you were the one going on about if they're coming over the summer you'd have hands on tickets in an instant. " that was true, but it's spring and i'm still in school. i stood there for a moment, of course i wanted to go, who wouldn't?

" fine fine. friday it is " she leaped out of her seat and hugged me with a smile on her face.

" thank goodness i didn't wanna have to find someone random to come with me " we both laughed " but it's true i really do wanna see the beautiful brian may " she looked at me with heart eyes and we both laughed.

" ok but the real question is, what are we gonna wear? "
