The Unexpected Lost (YiZhan Fanfic)

Chapter 7

3RD PERSON POV

"And now we are on the third round, in this round the 2 team will now have to fight separately with their team meaning they have to fight for their own sake without help from anyone. The person who will be caught getting help or helping anyone will be automatically disqualified." The host announced.

"So what are we waiting for? Let's get started. The host added.

"What? I thought it would be a team match? Not fighting separately? I'm certain what i read in the instructions paper of this contest, why they changed it?" Xiao Zhan thought making him confused to what's happening.

As soon as the host stopped talking, Icell starts to attack Grimm the girl that excels in wind magic.

"Ice creation magic: Thousands of ice spikes!" Icell chanted.

The air now was surrounded by big spikes of ice targeting Grimm. "Air Creation Magic: Magestic Air" Grimm vastly chanted hoping to change the direction of ice spikes that is targeting her but she didn't successfully countered Icell's attack. And got hit in his right arm and left leg, making her lost the match.

Xiao Zhan saw this and can't help but to feel sad for her teammate. "Summon Creation Magic: The trio Golem." Laurie chanted wanting to survive this round by guarding herself from anyone's attack. "Dark Creation Magic: Lightless Slash." Drake chanted attacking one by one the golems and successfully finish all of it.

Laurie gave up the fight before Drake finish her off.

And now the only people in the battle ground are Xiao Zhan, Icell, Drake and Safrony. Knowing he's teammate capability Safrony immediately hide himself by using invisibility but he's already too late he got hit in the stomach by a large ice.

"He didn't even gave him mercy! He's so arrogant!" Xiao Zhan thought.

Icell didn't waste time and quickly target Drake, "Ice Creation Magic; Boulder of Ice."

"Dark Creation Magic: Dimensional Slash." Drake chanted to cut off the gigantic boulder of ice coming from above. He accomplished his desire the ice broke into pieces.

"I'm not yet finish, "Ice Creation Magic: Needles of Ice!" Icell chanted making the broken pieces of ice boulder into a very small spikes of ice with the size that is impossible to see with a naked eye.

Eventually, Drake lost the match he got hit by multiple of ice by Icell making him unable to fight.

This round ended without Xiao Zhan moving a finger because no one dares to attack him, he just stay in mid-air watch how Icell beat his team and his own team.

"What a fiery battle to watch! Did you guys enjoyed this round? It's too early to celebrate because the next round was the 2 last man standing. Isn't exciting to watch how Icell and Xiao Zhan will fight to be the champion of this year battle contest? So let's begin now!" The host enthusiastically said.

The crowd went wild, began shouting and cheering for their own bet.

"This contest was really beyond great. I watched the last fight of Icell and the others all I can say he is so full of himself and merciless, he even just used his unique attribute. Yeah he is good but I doubt he will win against my bunny." Wang Yibo thought wanting Xiao Zhan to win this next round.

Icell and Xiao Zhan stand in front of each other waiting for the cue to start the fight and with the loud sound. Icell chanted quickly, "Ice creation Magic: Ice atmosphere".

The battle ground was now covered with ice, the whole atmosphere immediately became an ice place it's even snowing.

"I am waiting for this fight to unleash this spell just for you, how about it? Did you love it?" Icell said to Xiao Zhan.

The arena was under control by Icell because of this spell. Other than with this fancy magic it's making Xiao Zhan rukhs down losing every minute of it.

"Water Creation Magic: Water Shock Wave." Xiao Zhan chanted not giving the chance to lose a lot of rukhs.

The battle ground was now not full of water to the crowd it looks like a ball of water because of the shield, the water was not getting out.

Icell was having a hard time to swim in this water and trying so hard to keep his breathing steady just incase Xiao Zhan decided to drown him.

The water began disappearing stating that Xiao Zhan decided not to beat by just that.

As soon as the water completely gone they stand in the ground once again. The surrounding was not now covered in ice and the snowing even stop.

"Fuck! With just water!? You stopped my spell?! I will kill you!" Icell said with an angry tone.

Xiao Zhan just ignored what Icell said and wait for his next attack. "All will freeze before me! "Ice Creation Magic: Absolute Ice Freeze." Icell began chanting putting his two hands into shape of triangle in his chest.

All of the things inside the shield stop moving and became frozen in their position, to the audience it almost look like he freeze the time, Xiao Zhan being affected by this magic and leaving him steady in his position and unable to move his body.

Xiao Zhan was trying so hard to move and get out in his position before Icell reach him and kill him. "What the fooling chicken! How will I get out of this situation!? I didn't even know this guy has this kind of magic in his sleeves."

"Why don't you just stop resisting and accept that you lost to me huh?" Icell said while walking his way to Xiao Zhan with a sword made of ice in his hand.

"Argh! I can't lose this time! I must do something with this! " Xiao Zhan thought trying to get out of his pain in the ass situation.

Icell held Xiao Zhan's hair hard and said, "I think the time has come for the Phoenix to stay in the ashes for good". After saying this he stab Xiao Zhan in stomach with his ice sword.

The crowd went silent after seeing what just happened to Xiao Zhan, they can't believe that he will be beaten so easily by Icell. Some said that he doesn't deserve to win for consecutive times in this contest after all he lost to some newbie student.

"What the fuck!? Xiao Zhan get away your ass there and show him how strong you are! You must win this and fight me again next year in this same arena!" Wang Yibo shouted immediately still can't accept that the guy he fought 2 days ago will be stabbed like that.

"Calm down Wang Yibo and get stick your ass in your chair. Let's just accept that Xiao Zhan got trapped in that situation because he let down his guard and got stabbed by Icell just like that. Don't fucking shout! He will not die easily, there are a lot of medics staying at the back of arena." Seungyuon said getting pissed to his friend's outburst.

Icell holds the sword of ice still intact right in the stomach of Xiao Zhan smirking and so satisfied that he beat the champion of this contest. "It feels too much pleasure to see you in this situation I am dreaming of this in a long time and now it finally came true, I hope I can see this face of yours every time." Icell said while having an evil smile on his face and then remove the sword to stab him again.
