Just another loser [Stanley Uris x oc]

Prologue

Nina was laying on her bed, coughing up before grabbing the bucket next to her again, softly sighting before turning to Bill.

''False alarm.'' He gave a nod before turning back to Georgie, while he was folding up a paper boat for him. Georgie loved the rain and wanted to play outside, but neither Bill or Nina could go, both too sick to even get out of bed. 

''Sure I will not get into trouble, Bill?'' Georgie asked as he turned away from the window.

''Don't be a wu-wu-wuss.I'd come with you if I weren't... dying.'' Nina rolled her eyes at him, sure they were sick, very sick, but neihter of them were going to die.

''You're not dying!''

''You didn't see the v-v-vomit coming out of my nose this morning?'' 

''That's disgusting.''

''Agreed.'' Gerogie and Bill turned to Nina, who was still sitting on the bed, legs crossed and a bucket close to her arms. 

''Ok, go get the wax.''

''In the cellar?'' Georgie looked frightened, all kids hated the cellar, it was creepy down there.

''You want to fl-fl-float, dont' you?''

''Fine.'' When he walked out of Nina and Bill's shared bedroom, Nina turned to Bill.

''That was a bit harsh.'' 

When Georgie returned with the wax, Bill made his way to his desk, getting ready to coat it up with wax. Quickly, but carefully working on it, Bill's face turned to concentration, nodding after a few seconds.

''There you go. Sh-sh-she's all ready, captain.'' Nina rolled her eyes, Bill and his stupid rules for grammar. 

''She?''

''You always call a b-boat, she.''

''Thanks, Billy. See you later.'' He hugged his brother before wanting to walk away, before he heard someone clear her throat.

''Am I not getting a hug?'' Georgie smiled and rushed to his sister, hugging her closely before waving at her. ''Bye.''

''Be careful.'' Nina called after him, not knowing that it was going to be the last time she saw him alive.
