Chapter 8: Luke

He came out of the locker room covered in oil car. We all laughed. Even his dad did. Which surprised me a lot.

"So that's where the oil went." Carlos said as we all laughed some more.

"Chantelle, did you do this?" Ricardo asked through greeted teeth.

"Who, me? How dare you?" I replied.

"You're so toast." He huffed.

"Lighten up, you need some fun in your life." I told him. He walked a little closer and then he slipped and landed on my feet.

"Look at you, falling for me." I said in awe. Everyone laughed. 

"Fuck you, Black." He said while getting up.

"I mean, I'm not in the mood right now. But maybe someday." I smirked. He flipped me off.

He pushed one of the worker's away from his way. The worker just chuckled.

"So rude." I said before going to the lockers, I grabbed my clothes and changed. I came out and he was talking to some girl that doesn't work here.

"Mama." I turned to see a little girl; she looks around 2 years old. She walked towards Trisha and hugged her leg.

"My baby girl." She picked her up and hugged her.

"You have a baby?" I said while grabbing her little hand, she just giggled.

"Yeah, my pride and joy. Ella. She's the reason why I work hard every day." She smiled while looking at Ella.

"Can I?" She nodded and put her in my arms. "I love babies, I wished my parents would've had a baby after me."

Ella pinched my cheeks and giggled some more.

"Thanks mom, how come you're here?"

"Well, she wanted her mom and was crying." She told Trisha.

"So you're also married?" I asked her.

"No, her dad died, last year. It was a rough year, but she helped me get through it."

"Well, you have this little angel."

"That I do." She smiled.

"Let's go to my dad's bakery and order some cake." I invited Trisha and her mom. They chuckled and got inside my car and we drove to the bakery.

Being in this job has giving me a chance to meet people and their story. Except Ricardo, that man won't tell me anything personal.

Two months went by, and I'm still working in the mechanic garage. Fun times I tell ya. And Ricardo is going out with that stupid girl.

"Baby girl, look who came back to the city." Mom yelled. I came out of my room and saw Luke. He was also mine and Maggie's best friend growing up. But then his parents had a job offer and had to travel to London. Last year.

"Luke!" I ran and hugged him so tight. "I missed you."

"I missed you more." He smiled. "I. And wait to see Maggie too."

"She's going to be happy. Did you know that she's finally dating and her parents approved of him?"

"Happy for her." He said. "How about you and I go out for some drinks and dance."

"I'm in. Are you back for good?"

"Bet your ass I am. I'm going to study in your same university. I want to become a doctor."

"Nice, well, let me get changed and we can go out for some dancing. I don't drink." I said before leaving.

A white lie never hurt anyone.

Once I was changed, we left the house and went to club 15. We ordered some margaritas, mojitos. We were being light no strong drink. After our drinking time, we went to the dance floor and has a great time.

"How about we finish this night at my apartment. We can order some pizza and watched a movie."

"Had me at pizza and you have an apartment?"

"Yes, parents' gift. Now let's go." Okay then.

After 30 minutes, we arrived at his apartment. We went to sit on his couch and before I knew it, he crashed his lips against mine. I didn't stop it, honestly, it's been a while since I've had sex and I love sex. Luke and I used to hook up.

We removed all of our clothes and he placed protection on his member. He slid inside me and thrusted really hard; how much I enjoy sex. Luke and I dont have feelings for each other. But since we aren't in a relationship with anyone. We have a great time. As I said before, I'm not a good girl who doesn't get in trouble. I'm not perfect and that's fine.

"We have amazing sex together." He said while kissing my neck.

"That we do." I said as I pulled him into a kiss. "But we should probably stop doing this. We're best friends."

"I agree, how about tonight we have all the fun and tomorrow, all about friendship. I do want to find a girl for me and make love to her." He answered as I smiled.

"You will Luke. The right girl will come and flip your world upside down."

After that little chat, we had a great time on the couch, and we ended on his bed.

The next day I did my daily routine and made coffee.

"Morning, bestie." Luke said while grabbing a cup of coffee.

"Hey, bestie." I chuckled. "We had amazing time hooking up, now we say goodbye to that part of our lives. I really want to find a guy and have a relationship based on love and not just physical attraction."

"You will, we both will." He replied.

After having breakfast, I went home and took a shower. Last night was fun, but I do want a relationship. And I want it with one moody hot Latino, one that drives me crazy. I want Ricardo.
