The Cullen family along with Clara have been at home now for one week and four days. Clara has resettled back into the normal routine of living in Forks. Edward, Alice, Jasper, Emmett and Rosalie have started school again at Forks High School and Bella has been nagging at Rosalie to tell how Clara's been. But non of them has let a word slip. Clara started school again at Forks Primary and she's reunited with some of her close friends that she knew before she left. Her 5 day vacation turned out really good and she really enjoyed going to Italy.
Carlisle has started work again at the hospital. Esme is still unemployed and she doesn't want a job. Bella has been coming around every other week when Alice and Jasper take Clara out to different places to see. But when they arrive, Edward is always taking Bella back home and it takes him five more minutes to get back home. But that depended on the traffic on the way from taking Bella back home.
Clara loves sleeping in her room (Which is next to Rosalie and Emmett's bedroom) but she loves Rosalie or Alice to sleep with her during the night just in case she gets a bad dream. She loves being able to have Rosalie or Alice next to her during her sleep because it makes her feel like she is safe and happy in one of their arms. Though, if Rosalie and Alice need to hunt at the same time, Esme or Edward will stay with Clara the whole night and make sure she doesn't have bad dreams.
If it's normal and it's Rosalie. Clara holds her tight by the shirt and loosens her grip once she's fast asleep. If it's Alice, Clara will always bury her head in Alice's neck. If it's Edward, She'll lie their and let Edward play his piano until she falls asleep then he goes to her side and holds her hand until the morning. If it's Esme, Clara goes to sleep like a normal person. Esme lies next to her and Clara falls asleep that way.
Esme can't trust anyone else to look after Clara when she's asleep. She always tells Emmett and Jasper of because 'their not responsible enough to look after a 7 year old.'
