The Youngest Swan named Clara

Book 1: Chapter 3: Meeting the Volturi.

*3rd person*

They were walking out in the piddling rain to Volterra Castle to meet the Volturi and to see if they could change Clara when she turned 20. But they needed to focus on getting there without Clara dying. They were walking down the road of 'Volturi Avenue' when they saw a woman being nearly killed by another woman who looked pretty familiar.

Edward, Esme, Alice and Carlisle took off to help the poor woman while Emmett, Rosalie and Clara were finishing walking their way to the castle.

"I hope that lady is okay" Jasper said.

"What happened to the lady?" Clara asked.

"The lady was being hurt by another woman" Emmett said.

Then the rest caught up,

"I know who the other woman was. It was Bella, but what is she doing in Italy?" Alice said.

"I don't know. Maybe she wanted to be part of the Volturi? Who knows?" Rosalie said.

"I've been watching Bella's decision's. Nothing's been thought of about joining the Volturi. But why is she a Vamp?" Alice said.

"The question is, who made her?" Esme said.

They trotted their way up to the Castle with Clara clutching onto Rosalie and Edward's hand.

They all walked in and made their way up to the hall to where Aro, Caius and Marcus normally are. Clara was still on Rosalie and Edward's hands, not willing to let go.

When they arrived Alice started with a simple question.

"Aro, Caius, Marcus. Do any of you know why Isabella Marie Swan has been turned into a vampire. She's technically still a child. She's only 17." Alice asked.

"No. But who's the child, what's her name?" Caius asked.

"We have Clara Renee Swan. Bella's younger sister." Edward said. "your not going to hurt her, otherwise, it turns to a fight." he added.

"Were not willing to harm. Only willing to see the child. Hello Clara, come. You may bring Rosalie and Edward with you.

Edward was glad and the trio walked up to where Aro was sat.

Rosalie let go of Clara's hand and let Aro hold it instead.

Clara refused to show Aro her images and Aro struggled to get into her brain to mess with her memories.

"Edward, do you have problems seeing her thoughts?" Aro said curious.

"Yes, she can choose which thoughts I'm allowed to see. Some I can see, some I can't. Jasper struggles to penetrate her emotions. He has told me before. Alice can see everything about Clara. Clara doesn't close off with Alice, though Carlisle said that it can happen. She can block Alice from seeing her future, it's just harder. That's all" Edward explained.

"Right. But we don't know what's going on. Clara, can you mask Jane's pain for me?" Aro asked.

"Pain!" Jane said. Clara struggled to hold the pain back. But soon she fell back and screamed in agony.

Jane stopped and let Edward and Aro finish their conversation.

"So it seems that she can hold it back. But hopefully, when she gets older she'll be able to hold it back. Come back every year and we'll see if she can get any better at it then. Hopefully she'll improve." Aro explained, Edward nodding his head.

"I'll do that. But how will we train Clara?" Edward asked.

"Try and get Clara to empty her mind and try to block her mind away from Alice. Then she'll train like that. Only 5 minutes a day will do for Clara."

"There was something else as well, we wanted to ask?" Rosalie spoke up.

"Okay Rosalie, what's that." Aro asked.

"We were wondering when Clara could be turned. We were thinking between 20-30. Is that okay with you Aro?" Rosalie asked.

"Of course. Mid 20s will be perfect." Aro answered with a smile. "ow Jane, will you lead them out?"

"Yes" Jane replied.

Jane walked them out of the castle and down the road, her red eyes gaining people's attention.

When they got back to the hotel, they began packing again.

"Where we going?" Clara asked.

"We were only leaving for 3 days. We're going back tomorrow" Carlisle explained

"Yay!" Clara said, obviously happy about going home tomorrow.

"Carlisle, we were meant to be staying for about 5-6 months." Alice said.

"But Bella's here. She's going to try and harm Clara while we are all in the same country." Carlisle explained.

Alice nodded her head.

"Where's Bella?" Clara asked.

"Don't know" Jasper said "Don't really care" He muttered that last bit.

Esme must of heard it because she gave him that look of disgust.

*Clara's point of view*

When we left the Big Castle, I held onto Rosalie's hand and we skipped down the road together. I was so slow that Rosalie picked me up on to her shoulders. I smiled and Rosalie did as well.

Carlisle and Edward began running and they were really fast. Rosalie started running and my hair was flying behind my shoulders. I loved it! It was really nice. I giggled.

"Enjoying that Clara?" Rosalie asked me.

"Yeah I love it!" I replied.

When we got back to the hotel, daddy had the key and we all went in. We began packing up to go back to Forks. I sat on the couch watching the TV and everyone was running around packing all the things to leave tomorrow. When Jasper and Alice left to go and hunt the big bears, mummy daddy and everyone else was more rushing around than normal because Jasper and Alice had left. I then fall asleep on the couch watching a film called 'The Nutcracker.'

*Esme's point of view*

When Jasper and Alice left, we were rushing around more than usual. Then Clara fell asleep watching The Nutcracker and we were only left to us guys. Emmett and Rosalie were packing Clara's clothes while me and Carlisle were finishing packing Alice and Jasper's things. Just like that, Alice and Jasper came in looking better than they did before. They took control for packing their things and me and Carlisle began packing the food and drinks we'll need for the plane journey back to Forks.

Then after we packed the food, we packed the things that we all need like household items. They were things like: technology, Clara's school things, toiletries and bed things and everything else. Today was a stressful day but we knew we wouldn't be rushing around in the morning like headless Vampires. Wait, can Vampires have their heads off and still be alive? Probably not.

*The next morning*

*Still Esme's point of view*

Clara came in mine and Carlisle's room while we were lifting the suitcases and packing them into the cars. We had Rosalie, Emmett and Clara's things in Emmett's jeep. Alice and Jasper in Alice's porche car, mine and Carlisle's things in Carlisle's BMW, and Edward's things in his Volvo. We would all be taking our separate ways to the Ferry to England, then to Mississippi, then to Phoenix then we'll be driving to Forks. It's really complicated but we'll manage.
