Wings of Fire: Meet the Guardians of War (Book 1 of The Power Prophecy)

Aroax

The continent called Aroax is divided into three parts: The left part, The right part, and the middle part. The island looks like a dragon that was fire breathing the sky. It is a bit far from the continent called Pyrrhia. In the right part the dragons that live there are Darkwings, Groundwings, Boltwings, Lightwings. In the left part most of the dragons that live there are Firewings, Forestwings, and Windwings. In the middle part is an archipelago. No species has been identified to live there. Other places that you will see are River of Power, Alpha River, Sea of Future which could be seen in the north of Aroax, Sea of Past which could be seen in the south, Ruby Mountain, Diamond Mountain, Tribe Meeting Place, Circle of Wings Academy, and lastly The Abandoned Island.

Landmarks in Aroax:

Alpha River
This river could be seen from the Ruby Mountain going to the Diamond Mountain and then circling the Circle of Wings Academy around. It was called Alpha River because there was once an alpha pack that had an alpha leader. All of them were Darkwings. But then during the Great War the alpha leader of the pack got killed by a warrior dragon. The alpha male dragon died on the waterfall of the Ruby Mountain then fell down. It's his blood who made the river be so long or at least thats what most storytellers say. He was declared as a legendary hero of the Darkwings. Today, his story inspired a lot of Darkwing warriors to become a great soldier and leader.

River of Power
This river can only be seen in the right part of the island. It was named by a Professor. The Professor decided that it's name shall be like that because the river had orbs in it and inside of it are magical powers. These orbs are called Magical Orbs or Power Orbs. They can give you a power if you grab one. But it only allows one orb because in order to get many power you shall make a good sacrifice so that you can get one. But you can't play with it or else your power will be taken away from you and it will go back to the river where it came from. Your power could be only used for a good sacrifice.

Sea of Future
This can be seen in the north of the island called Aroax. Dragons who have been there say that if you swim further a bit you will see what will happen in the future. This technic were also once used by armies to know what their enemies are doing. Today, this technic is still being used by alliances when a war starts. But for the meantime dragons go here to solve their upcoming problem. So that they won't need to think of what to do in the future.

Sea of Past
This can be seen in the south of the island called Aroax. Many dragons have experienced something weird in this place. Whenever you dive deeper your mind will recall everything that happened to your past. You can never tell if something bad happened to your past or something good happened to your past. Just like the Sea of Future, dragons go here to know all the mistakes that happened to their past.

Ruby Mountain
It is located at the right part of the island. The mountain was discovered during the Great War. It was discovered near the Fire Kingdom. Some dragon professors and experts believed that the fire and the ice crystals combined together making a ruby. But then it kept on continuing the process that it made a mountain of ruby. Today, many mountains are being discovered everyday. Like the sapphire mountain. But still the experts are still not sure if it is a sapphire mountain because the mountain is being under construction by the Groundwings.

Diamond Mountain

This mountain is just at the north of the Ruby Mountain. Inside of the mountain are full of diamonds. Even the rivers inside the mountain caves has diamonds. They are almost everywhere. It also has a waterfall but smaller than the waterfall of the Ruby Mountain. It's waterfall is cold and super blue. And in this mountain you can only see the rarest ore. The Superior Diamond. This kind of ore is big. It is as big as the talons of a juvenile dragon. But some say they can grow twice that size. All of the elements of the other ore can be seen inside the Superior Diamond. Like the Ruby, Diamond, Emerald and etc.

Tribe Meeting Place
It is where all of the leaders of each tribe meet to discussed about whats happening to their kingdoms. Also they go here if they have a problem like someone started a war, but mostly they discuss about war or invasions. It's place is made up of shining rocks which is from the Light Kingdom. Lightwings were the ones who made the place. The place is filled up with Lightwing workers. They were hired to work there because they are known to be hardworking and friendly towards every dragon they see. And lastly it can be seen in the south-east of the island.

Circle of Wings Academy
This academy is built for dragons to learn everything about their world. Such as Art, History, Geography, and etc. Also it is built not just to learn nee things, but to learn what the dragons's wish to become someday. Like studying how to become a warrior, studying how to become a healer, studying how to become a professor and etc. The academy has a lot of names such as Circle of Wings Training Academy, and Aroax Academy. But the most appreciated one is Circle of Wings Academy. And the academy can be seen in the lower middle part of the island which is where the right part meets the left part.

The Abandoned Island
This island had some tragic story that happened a long time ago. Long time ago, this island was built for event parties. But before the Great War happened a massacre occurred in the island. Hundreds of dragons died in the massacre. Many tried to flee but died. Others survived. Then after the tragedy happened they discovered that one of the owners of the island got pissed off because he couldn't control the island. Then he lost his mind and massacred the whole event place. This island was never used by dragons again. But there are still dragons who are fixing the island and those are the Groundwings. Today only a few dragons go here to know the history of the island. And when you will visit the island a welcoming sign appears. It is the history sign. The island could be seen in the further north of the island.
