Mario And The Nightmare

Mario was sitting in a chair, cause after a while he couldn't sleep. So he got up and started to read a book, keeping Meggy in his sights.

It was about 11 o clock at night when he heard an ear-piercing screaming, Mario peeked over his book and closed it to check on Meggy.

Mario was worried, his girlfriend was crying and shaking and screaming louder than usual, it didn't make sense to him at all. Mario thought it was the same nightmare from before, so he put his hand on Meggy's cheek. But this time she flinched immediately and tightened her grip on the blanket.

Meggy: No! Please Mario! Don't! I thought you loved me!!!!

Mario was confused, he did love Meggy, very much in fact. So he began wondering why she was doubting his love for her.

He wasn't quite sure so he climbed back into bed and hugged Meggy tightly, but Meggy punched him in the gut making Mario groan in pain.

Mario's thoughts: What the hell?! Why did she punch me?

Meggy awoke but something was off with her. Her pupils were small and she was shaking and crying she looked at Mario with a glare and chased him making Mario scream in fear.

Luigi awoke and heard Mario scream, he carefully got out of bed careful not to wake Saiko. Ran out to the living room and found Mario pinned against the wall Meggy being the one pinning him with her splatter shot aimed at his face almost like she was about to shoot him.

Luigi: Meggy! What are you doing?! Don't hurt Mario!

Meggy turned around and gave Luigi the same menacing glare, she grabbed Luigi and pinned her next to Mario.

Mario: You too huh weege?

Luigi: Yea.... Idk what's wrong with her!

Mario: She started screaming and attacked me.

Smg4: What's going on... What the heck?

Meggy had the two pinned, aiming her splattershot at their faces, Luigi being a baby hides behind Mario as he tries to reason with Meggy and figure out what's wrong.

Mario: Meggy darling, what's going on dear? Why are you attacking me and Luigi?

Meggy simply glared at Mario, as Smg4 and the others heard the commotion downstairs and went to investigate, and then Meggy somehow sensed their presence and aimed at them ready to pull the trigger at any sudden movement.

Tari: Ah! What the heck?! Meggy! It's us your friends!

Smg4: Meggy! What's going on girl?! You can talk to us! We're your friends!

Meggy tackled Smg4, and Mario grabbed her and held onto her tight.

Meggy was thrashing against Mario's grip trying to escape but Mario held on despite the massive amount of pain that he was induced with.

Meggy: What the hell are you doing?! Get your hands off of me! You'll never make me join your octoling reign!

Mario: Octoling reign? What the hell is that?

Meggy: Mario! You gotta snap out of it! It's me! Meggy! Your baby girl!

Mario: What are you talking about Meggy? Snap out of what?

Meggy: The hypnoshades! He's got you! And I'm not gonna let him take you away from me!

*And with that proposition Meggy threw Mario against the wall, Meggy's throw was so strong that she cracked the wall and Mario slid down with a thud*

Mario: Oof!

Luigi: Mario! Are you ok?

Mario: Yes.... I'm fine a little sore, but I'm fine.
