Meeting the granparents

Theo's pov
We walked up the uneven stony path to the big intimidating door of Shias parent house-I always get the feeling that they don't like me- with lavender clinging to my hand looking so adorable in the black pleather leggings and tartan jumper and little black ugg boots that shai dressed her in. I held my breath as shai opened the door and shouted hello

Lavenders pov
Shai ushered me an Theo into the house, I lifted my arms up in desperation for Theo to carry me and he did. I took in all of my surroundings as theo carried me through the house the grand staircase with and oak banister the sparkling chandelier and a scarlet rug beneath Theo's feet.
We walked into a large kitchen that was filled with the smell of Christmas.
"Hi mom!" shai squealed excitedly as she ran over to hug the skinny tall old lady with glowing blond hair
"She doesn't look like a granma," I whispered in Theo's ear and he chuckled putting his finger to his lips to tell me not to say that
the old woman replied "your fathers in the living room going see him while I ice these ginger bread men" she barely even made I contact because she was too busy pulling out muffins from the oven.
We walked out of the kitchen and down a long corridor to see a plump old man with golden glasses sitting in a creams arm chair next to that is a corner sofa and the other side of that is an arm chair identical to the one Shias dad is sitting in shai stares at the large bare tree with parcels wrapped in frozen wrapping paper me and Theo exchanged excited looks
"Dad don't you think you should be decorating that tree? Shai laughed
"Your mom wants her and your little one to do it together some bonding things he grunted watching a football game.
Shias mom came in with a tray of Christmas themes goodies like muffins ginger bread and cupcakes that look like Christmas pudding.
She squealed when she saw me
"She so cute!" Hi hunny I'm your grandma" she cooed
Theo set me down on the cream carpet and told me to say hi
"Hi," I mutter shyly "I'm lavender"
Theo and shai sit on the sofa and my gran grabs two of the presents under the tree the pulls me onto her lap she handed me the first parcel.
"This is a welcome to the family present" she sings
I rip open the package to see a golden hear shaped locket I open it and there's a picture of shai and theo in one side and a pic of me in the other I smile and put it on
This one is an early Christmas present I'll ship rest to you. I open this one there is a panama set first is and elsa nightie which is an Anna one when you turn it in side out and a Olaf onesie and a Sven onesie too . I squeal with excitement.
"What's with all the Christmas stuff" laughed shai "it's only November"
"It's our little family Christmas" she replied whilst tickling me.
"Now let's decorate the tree," she told me
"Oh and shai we're having a party tomorrow night"
"What!" Shai screamed "me and lav havnt got anything to wear"
"Well we will just have to go shopping then," gran replies
