Chapter 18- Asking for forgiveness

As the night passed you spent it crying with Tao being your side.

The next day.......

You woke up with a massive headache in your head and all the events from the day before had come rushing to you. It was surely hurting you so you got up slowly to get ready for the classes, though it's happened life has to move on.

Just then you hear some shuffling noise and you alert yourself. But that was non other then Tao.

Tao: Hi y/n, Good morning.

You: Good morning, you didn't leave yet?

Tao: No, I saw you sleeping and then I got up to get down coffee with breakfast. Here

He points to the table where he had placed the breakfast, you smile a little.

You: Thank you for doing this.

Tao: No mention, I mean that's what friends are for right ?

You nod your head and get up to get ready. You brush your teeth and all the memories of your night with chanyeol comes running back to you. You sigh a bit and finish off with brushing your teeth and washing your face.

A few days later........

You walk to your classroom with Tao and Stephie, its been quite a few days after the whole incident and truth be told you didn't feel no sadness anymore, but you did feel guilty, a guilt that you had to drag Chanyeol in your complicated life.

Just then you see Chanyeol near his locker and walk towards him, he smiles seeing your approach him.

You: Hey chanyeol (you smile a bit at him)

Chan: hi y/n, how are you?
Chanyeol smiled back seems like his anger had reduced.

You smiled and answered....

You: I'm good chanyeol, how are you?

Chan: I'm good, listen I'm sorry I shouldn't have said those stuff.

You feel bad since it was your mistake too tagging along chanyeol when you had no feelings for him. Except that of a friend.

You: No I'm sorry for what I did.

Chanyeol smiled and continued to walk while you tag along with him.

Chan: Well it's not like I've  not known this but you did have feelings for Baekhyun .

You: What??

You widen your eyes as to why chanyeol would drag Baekhyun's name, it would have been fine if he had said Tao, since he was your ex. But doubting that you had feelings for Baekhyun was a really funny thing.

You: Why do you think I have feelings for him, I don't even like him, I mean like him like that.

Chan: Don't know why I felt it, like you two were wring yet both perfect match, like he had changed completely being around you and you had also broken out of your shell.

You not your head thinking what chanyeol had said. But you still didn't figure out why he would think that this would be the reason as to why Baekhyun would like you and you would like Baekhyun.

Chan: Anyway I have to go, see you around Y/n-shi,  maybe coffee some time.

You smile and nod your head and walk back to your class thinking of words said by chanyeol.

Speaking of Baekyhyun it's been one week since you last saw him, it's not like you cared, but it's that you wanted to talk to him and clear the atmosphere.

Stephie: What are you searching for muffins?

You: Baekhyun.

Stephie: Why that jerk, stay away from him muffins.

You still searched for baekhyun but Stephie dragged you away. Since you had class you decided to search for him later.

Later........

It was a rather tired day and you had lot of assignments and you had forgot all about the search for Baekhyun.

You went to the local library, since you had lots to study and update. It was already night and you decided to walk back to your dorm.

You: Aigoooo, I should have taken the bus, my legs hurt.

You were whining since it was late night and you were tired from walking back and forth to library and your dorm.

Suddenly a car stopped beside you and you got afraid. But that wasn't for a long time since the windows rolled down reveling a smiling Minseok.

Minseok: Y/n-shi, what are you doing out, so late.

You: Came to library.

Minseok: Is it? Oh then get in the car I'll drop you.

You: It's alright oppa.

Minseok laughed out loud seeing your reaction

Minseok: don't worry I won't bite.

You get in the car at the back seat and Smile thanking him.

You: Thank you oppa.

Minseok: Ah no need to thank, your my bro's girl.

You smile, but look down since he called you Baekhyun's girlfriend.

You: Umm.. Oppa...

You wanted to come clear to him but he started to talk.

Minseok: Baek was 5 years old when his mom died, my mom didn't like him since he was the son of my father's second wife.

Baek would cry everyday for his mom and dad would be worried. One day I decided to see him Maybe play with him.

But soon I got attached to him since he was always fragile and got easily hurt. I swore to myself that I'll let only the things good enough for him to get close with him.

And that's the reason I let him date you since you seemed like a good person. And morever he may seem like a jerk sometimes, but that's the way he protects himself from getting hurt.

I do feel he changed a lot, thank you for that.

You felt bad listening to Baekhyun's story and his hardship as a kid. But you also felt bad for lying to Minseok.

Minseok: You had something to say.

You decided maybe this wasn't the right time to say this to Minseok, so you shut your mouth.

You: Nothing, just that thank you for helping me reach dorm.

Minseok: Its my pleasure.

Minseok smiled as you got out of the car and walked back to your dorm.

Your mind wasn't thinking straight and all you wanted to do now was to talk to Baekhyun to clear things out.

But he wasn't found anywhere or you didn't know how to contact him.

You threw your books on the desk and slump in your bed staring at the ceiling while thinking about stuffs.

Suddenly your phone rings. You are lazy enough to not pick it up, but the caller doesnt seem to stop too.

With a pissed expression you pick up the phone, but the voice at the other side scared you off.

What is it?
