"Ha! Now that I have the Shikon Jewel I can become a full fledged demon" Inu said holding up the purplish pink jewel as she jumped away. "Inu!" "Die!" "You will pay!" The villagers exclaimed as they threw spears, rocks, ropes and shot arrows at Inu. But she dodged all of them, "Ha! Like that will happen!" She called out to them as she disappeared into the forest. I should be home free now. She thought as she jumped from tree to tree.
"Inu!" He called out, that voice... Inu thought as she slowly looked back. It was! It really was Kaoru! "Die Inu!" He exclaimed releasing one of his sacred arrows. She was so shocked that she couldn't move, the arrow pierced through her causing her to release the Shikon Jewel and sending her to the sacred Tree of Ages. Her vision was going blurry, but she still saw Kauro... How did it come to this? What happened between them? "K...Kaoru... K...Kaoru... I thought..." Her eyes slowly closed.
Kauro limped over the the Shikon Jewel and took it in his hands. "Kauro!" "Kauro!" The villages exclaimed as they rushed to him. "Big Brother!" Kyoka exclaimed rushing to his side. Kaoru fell to his knees , he didn't have much time left. "Big Brother! You're bleeding! We have to get to back to the village to treat your wounds!" Kyoka cried tugging at his sleeve with tears in his eyes. Kauro looked at his little brother sadly and shook his head. "No, time is running out for me" he said.
"No... no what are you talking about? We'll help you Big Brother" Kyoka cried. The Shikon Jewel brings nothing but pain and sorrow. It mustn't fall into the wrong hands. "Kyoka, take the jewel and burn it with my body" Kauro said as he placed a hand on his head. "W...what are you saying Big brother?" He cried. Kaoru gently placed the jewel in Kyoka's hands. "I... I promise Big Brother" Kyoka cried looking down at it. "I'm sorry" he said and with that he fell to the ground with his last breath "Big brother!" "Big Brother!" Kyoka exclaimed.
