when I'm with Corey, I feel something I've never felt before. he made me feel like I was the only girl in the world. like I was walking on clouds. I don't know how else to describe it. he made me feel like the person I am around him is the person I want to always be.
I sat there staring at him while he ate. we had just had a crazy morning. now that it was calm I got to really focus and think about what happened last night. "why are you staring?" he asked without looking up. "let me do what I need to do." I said softly.
"as long as you're not plotting my murder." he giggled and looked up to ask. "why aren't you eating?" I looked at him and realized I really hadn't been eating. I was at a loss for words knowing I'm usually the type to start and finish first. "I just got distracted. that's never happened before," I said truly being confused. he smiled and continued. he gave me a worried look and kept eating. soon after we both finished we went home.
we sat on the roof staring up. "I don't even want to say anything because its gonna ruin the moment," I said holding his hand tightly. I glanced at him and he was smiling. "what are you thinking about." he looked over at me and answered. "you." he said simply. "oh dude think about something cool, not my stumpy ass." I said and we laughed. he shoved me.
we went back to being quiet and just lied staring at the ceiling. "do you think your mom would wanna eat dinner with us?" I asked looking at him again. "sure. ill ask her tonight. she always happy to hear me talk about you." he told me and I smiled.
"let's go watch a movie." I said jumping up carefully. "what movie?" he asked as he followed me back inside. "um what about.... oh what about my dog skip?" I said. he smiled big. "oh yeah I remember that. yeah let's watch." he said and we sat back on my bed with my laptop.
I typed in the movie and clicked on it. we watched it all the way through the end. it was 7:30 pm and Corey was about to leave. "okay ill see you hopefully tomorrow at dinner." he said as we stood at the front door. he kissed me then turned to his car and I watched him get in and drive away.
my mom ate dinner and soon enough I went to sleep. strange enough Drew didn't call to ask for details but that's alright.
