A lone figure on the bleachers of the soccer field. It was exceptionally quiet today, save for the chirping birds.
Right arm raised to chest level and the brunette looks over her black wrist watch. Quarter to 7 in the morning. The person she was supposed to meet is late. She hates it. She hates waiting.
She stood up and dusted off her skirt. Just when she was about to start walking, a vaguely familiar voice called out.
"Jennie-shi~" That voice. It was full of aegyo, just how she always remembered it to be.
She turned around to face the person, her lips pressed together tightly. She was, however, unexpectedly greeted by the sight of three girls.
Two of them wore glasses while the person she's supposed to meet wore nothing but her smile. One of the four-eyed looked like a bear, with a black hair. The other was a brunette with fair complexion; she almost had the same hair color with her. The brunette one was tall, and her skin was light, almost pale. She was vaguely familiar, though she can't comprehend where she saw the girl. The brunette had her head turned sideways, so she was only able to see the side profile.
Brushing the thought about the brunette off, Jennie turned her attention again to the person who asked to meet her today; Kim Jisoo. She didn't want to, but she had to. After all, she was indebted to the girl. If not for her, she wouldn't be able to enroll in this high school.
"So, what are we meeting here for?" Jennie asked Jisoo as she sat back down on the bleacher. The three girls followed.
"Well, I have a little request to make." Jisoo started and scooted closer to Jennie. Jennie's brow raised in a questioning manner. Jisoo caught up and continued.
"You see, my friend here is going to be asked for prom by her long time crush." Jisoo paused for a second. "She's, well, inexperienced in dating and stuff." Jisoo paused again, waiting for any reaction from Jennie. "And we need your help." Jisoo finished.Jennie eyed Jisoo's 'friends'. Her gaze landed on the bear-like girl. She was gawking, Jennie could tell. She even had her mouth slightly agape. Jennie suppressed a chuckle. She had been looking at Jennie since they arrived, it made her conscious.
"What kind of help, exactly are we talking about here, Jisoo-shi?" Jennie's voice was stern. It was how she normally converse with people. Of course with the exception of Irene and Rosé.
"Well, you see.." Jisoo paused again. She seemed to be uneasy or shy. Jennie wasn't sure. "You see, my friend here doesn't know how to kiss. And we need your help." Jisoo finally said.
Jennie's eyes widened for a second before she regained her composure. She caught up easily. She wasn't dense. She might not be the smartest kid in the prestigious high school they were currently at but she wasn't the slowest one either.
"You want me to give her kissing lessons." Jennie stated matter-of-factly. Jisoo's face immediately lit up while her brunette friend snorted rather audibly. Jennie's left brow rose at the action.
"Oh my god! Thank you so much!" Jisoo exclaimed happily.
"Wait! I haven't agreed yet. What made you think I'll be giving her kissing lessons?!" Jennie's voice raised a little higher.
Was she really doing this? She could always say no. She has every right to. She wasn't going to kiss any stranger, what more give them 'lessons'.
"Just think about this as a little payback from before." Jisoo said and winked at Jennie.
That did it though. Jennie could never say no to Jisoo. Not when the girl had helped her get the scholarship that made it possible for her to study in the prestigious school that stood with all its righteousness in Seoul. She was, after all, indebted to Jisoo.
