*Chapter 6: Behind Enemy Lines.*

"Ain't no other man, can stand up next to you,

Ain't no other man on the planet does what you do, Oooooo,

You're the kinda gu-"

I peeked through my eyes as Christina Aguilera blasted through my buzzing phone.

Reaching out of my covers and to the device, I squinted at the time.

"5:00 A.M.. Ugggghhh." I groaned as I dragged my legs out of the bed and turned off my alarm.

Shuffling across the room, I went out the door and lazily went to the bathroom to take a shower.

I'm one of those people who can't do anything without taking a shower first. I just feel so dirty and... uhhh.

Taking off my huge grey shirt, I noticed newly formed bruises on my hips. "Damn you, Harry Styles." I cursed in a muffled rage as the sleepiness of my body still took part in my actions and sayings.

About 45 minutes later I was fully dressed and ready to go.

My aqua, blue, long sweater was draped across one shoulder as the other fell off it slightly. It said 'Love' in big, bold ,black letters. I also had on some black leggings and sandals.

My hair was down in its natural form. I didn't really like doing anything with it. I feel like it takes too much time and energy that I can't afford to lose. Or in other words, I'm just a lazy ass child.

I plucked my bag off the ground and headed out of my bedroom door down to the kitchen.

"Hey, Mama." Aunt Kristi announced smiling with that warm inviting glow of hers.

"Hello, Bubba." I greeted, taking a seat on one of the bar stools as I slung my bag over onto the one next to me.

I live with my Aunt and Uncle. My dad died when I was 7 from cancer. And my mom couldn't handle the resemblance I had from my father ,so she left. My grandparents were going to take me in ,but since they're so old, they thought younger guardians would be a more suitable arrangement. And that's where my Aunt and Uncle came in.

She has black hair much like my mother's,because they were sisters, and greyish blue eyes. I think my mom had green, if I can even call her that.

"So, what's your schedule?" Kristi questioned as she tossed some bacon in the pan she was cooking with. Sizzles started going off as the meat hit the burning surface.

"Go to school, get shit done, come back here, T.V., food, sleep, you know, just the usual." I informed as I reached over the counter for a cookie.

"Just wondering ,since you've been so... distant from us lately." She pondered raising a brow.

"Distant?" I asked cautiously.

"Out, not here, without our company." She listed as her hands grabbed the tongs, snatched up some pieces of bacon and put them on the paper-towel-covered plate.

"Mmm, these are good cookies, Aunt Kristi." I took a mouth full and tried changing the subject I was so not in the mood to explain.

"Uh,uh,uh young lady. Where have you been going off to?" Kristi interrogated.

"Just... a friend's. Studying is not easy to do alone you know." I grinned, raising my eyebrows pointing.

"B.S. we both know you wouldn't give up free time to study for your life." Sadly, this unpredictable woman was right.
