Learning About Cystic Fibrosis

Jin's POV
I had rushed home quickly and got my laptop out to search up what Cystic Fibrosis is. I was looking through it and finally found the definition.

    Cystic Fibrosis:
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a disorder caused by mutations in CTFR gene, which causes a thick mucus to build up in the lungs, pancreas, liver and intestine.

But why did Tae never tell me about it? I kept trying to see if they were any cures for him but, it showed there was no cure but there was a way, but it wouldn't show how. I closed my laptop and got into the shower. I finally got under the blanket and tried falling asleep, but my mind was just thinking about everything that just went down. First, my manager, and now this. I'm just gonna ask Taehyung why he didn't tell me.
~The Next Day~
I had gone to work and had done my daily shift and started walking to the Jeon Hospital and help patients stay calm while taking their treatments then went to Taehyung's room with Hoseok and helped him out. "So how are you doing?" He looked at me. "I'm doing better..." I smiled softly and took a deep breath. "Taehyung, why didn't you tell me you had Cystic Fibrosis?" He looked down. "I didn't want to tell you cause I thought you would think I'm weird." I was shocked at what he said.

Why wouldn't he tell me? I get that he didn't want to lose the people who helped and volunteered but I would've stayed no matter what. I held his hand and looked at him. "You can tell me anything, I'm glad you told me but let's try not to keep secrets from each other okay Tae?"

Taehyung's POV
I felt him hold my hand as he told me what he felt. I didn't mean to keep it a secret but it was scary since a lot of my friends had left me once I told them about what I had. They had called me a sick freak and other names I don't want to describe and left. And that was three years ago, then my parents not giving me any attention at all didn't help either but it was great to have Hoseok, I call him Hobi for short, to be there by my side and made me happy, even when I was really sad on my birthdays since no one would come to visit me.

Jin and I kept talking more and I would usually just talk about how my family is, including my dog Yeontan. Yeontan is a great puppy, just really hyper and loud. Jin describes his pets and they sounded really cool! Hoseok came in and helped me with my treatments, got my new medicine and went to check on other patients as well.

Jin and I were walking around when I ran into my friend, his name is Jungkook. "Oh hey Jungkook!" He waved at me and smiled. "Hey TaeTae!" I went to him but stayed five feet apart since he had the same thing as me. (If you seen the movie then you know what I'm talking about.) "How are you doing Kookie? Oh this is Jin! He's Hoseok's friend that comes and volunteers everyday!" Jungkook looked at him. "Oh yeah! I see him walk in once in awhile!" We were all chatting but Jungkook had to go back and get his treatment.

Jin had to leave and we both said our goodbyes and I went to my room and decided to draw in my journal I had gotten from Hoseok as a gift from awhile back. I decided to draw a tree shaped into a heart since I thought it would look really cool. Soon I started getting sleepy and put all my stuff away, but I couldn't stop thinking of Jin.

I kept thinking about how funny he was, his amazing features and just his personality overall, is it possible that I like him? I might, I might not but I'll see later on. Just now I hope a lung transplant comes in for me soon so I can leave the hospital.
