Seoul, BTS dormitory
After a long weekend of rest - which seemed to be an eternity for the BTS manager - Se Jin returned to Hannam armed with three envelopes of different colors. Couldn't Bang Si Hyuk just make them in white? Se Jin looked up to the sky and rolled his eyes.
This time he only had to knock three times for the door to open.
- Oh, hello Se Jin Hyung! Jungkook launched as he smiled at him. You were lucky I walked by the door to pick up my socks. Next time, remember to use the doorbell, we'll hear better...
The manager stammered something inaudible and entered the BTS' residence with his shoes off. Se Jin began to smile when he saw the excitement in the house: everyone was already getting ready... For once he didn't have to tell them.
A few minutes later, they were gathered again in the still messy living room: dirty socks on the left, a bag of chips on the right, headphones on the floor, a charger over there, throwaway plates here...
They are indeed human, yet... he muttered before starting.- Well! Boys... he began by clearing his throat. I have here, three envelopes for your observations tomorrow. Don't ask me "where" or to see "what" precisely because I don't know. And a quick remark: be well covered, you never know what kind of stalkers can follow you...
Se Jin handed the envelopes to Jin, the eldest, who got up to distribute them.
- Pink for me and my team, he said smiling, and he handed the blue envelope to the Leader and the yellow one to Suga, who straightened up so he could open it.
- Hyung! Jimin arrested him by placing his hand on Suga's shoulder. Why don't we split the teams before we open them? He asked politely.
- Good idea! Jungkook replied, who was impatient. Rock-paper-scissors between you old people! The winner will be able to choose their partner(s).
Suga sighed, but it was the tradition. Throughout their friendship, they had always settled everything with a game of rock-paper-scissors, whether it was to decide who would carry the groceries, who would be deprived of dinner or who would tell Suga that Nam Joon had broken his Ipad. Without this game, they would probably still be arguing about a problem that was five years ago. It was almost never boring and at least no one played the sore loser, in most cases.
Jin, Suga and Nam Joon stood up with nascent flames in their pupils. It was no longer just a game. They knew how important it was to be able to choose your teammate. Jin spoke first:
- If you don't play, you lose: rock-paper-scissors!
They looked at each other before looking at their weapons. Suga and RM had both chosen the rock. Seok Jin was fainting cries while all the boys were giggling loudly.
- It's not fair... Jin whispered as he sighed.
- Don't be a bad player, Hyung! V said to him with a smile.
The other two restarted the game. Scissors versus paper. Suga let out a "Yeah" of happiness and laughed out loud. His pair of scissors shredded RM's paper hopes into a thousand pieces. At least he was the second to choose his partners.
Min Yoon Gi had chosen J-Hope and Jimin and felt very proud as he saw their delighted faces. Nam Joon decided to team up with the youngest member of the group, which meant that Seok Jin would have to deal with V for the entire next holy day.- I can't wait to go with you, Hyung! V replied, smiling innocently at Jin.
- Me too Tae Hyung-ah... Me too...
