Yunho and Mingi had always been best friends, they met when they were little kids, and have been inseparable since. They started out as friends and pretty soon there were 6 others with them. The eight of them did everything together, they even bought a house together. Though Yunho and Mingi had other friends, it was always the two of them. They'd always go to each other with issues, until Yunho's discovered an issue he just couldn't tell Mingi.
"Seonghwa, can I tell you something please?" Yunho asked, and Seonghwa nodded, and brought him upstairs to his own bedroom to talk. "What is it, Yunho?" Seonghwa asked. "You can't tell Mingi." Yunho said. "I won't, just tell me." "I think I'm in love with Mingi." Yunho said, and put his head down. "Oh, you finally realized it? We've all been waiting for it. We knew you liked him from the beginning. You should tell him." Seonghwa said. "Have you forgotten? Mingi has a girlfriend. He's straight. Kang Seulgi, the girl who's over every fucking night." Yunho said in an angered voice. "Fuck I don't even know why I told you this." Yunho then turned on his heel and walked out of the room.
Mingi saw the saddened expression on Yunho's face and immediately tried to go help him. "Yunho! What's wrong?" Mingi said, trying to follow him. "Mingi just leave me the fuck alone." Yunho said, slamming his bedroom door. Yunho had never acted cold towards Mingi, and it made the younger feel like shit. Yunho got into his bed and just started sobbing. He wanted to tell Mingi, because he wanted Mingi to be his. But Mingi was taken and Yunho didn't want to ruin it. He just wanted Mingi to be happy.
Over the next few weeks Yunho started avoiding Mingi, especially when Seulgi was over. He wouldn't talk to either of them, and he made it known that he was mad, without having to say anything. Mingi started thinking that Yunho wanted to date Seulgi, which was far from the case. Yunho frequently left in the middle of conversation with Seulgi or Mingi, just to be away from them. He wanted nothing but to be in Seulgi's shoes. He wanted to be able to kiss Mingi and love Mingi, but he couldn't. Yunho would cry himself to sleep on a regular basis. He had nothing better to do than be emotional about not being with Mingi.
One night at dinner Seonghwa made Yunho stay with all of them, including Seulgi, at dinner. Yunho stayed quiet the entire time, watching as Mingi and Seulgi were the most disgusting couple in the world, feeding each other and making jokes with each other, pretending like no one else was there. Yunho started to get angry, and couldn't stop his emotions from taking over. "Just fucking stop. This is disgusting. Why is no one else telling them they're being absolutely disgusting?" Yunho yelled. "Yunho sit down." Seonghwa replied softly. "Sit down? You want me to sit down, when everything I've ever wanted is just crumbling in front of me. Knowing the person I love doesn't love me back, and is just sitting there being disgusting. You have no right to tell me what to do. I'm sick and tired of pretending that their fucking relationship doesn't hurt me." Yunho yelled, slamming his hands down on the table. "Yunho, you like Seulgi?" Mingi asked. "Of course not. I don't even know why you do." Yunho yelled back. "Then what the fuck is this all about?" Mingi asked.
"Are you that clueless Mingi?" Yunho asked. "What do you mean?" "I fucking like you, Mingi." Yunho yelled, and ran upstairs to his bedroom. Mingi followed after him, wanting to know what it was all about. Mingi knocked on the door, hoping Yunho would open. "Leave me alone." "Yunho, please let me in." Yunho opened the door and glared at Mingi. He stepped back and let Mingi in. "I'm sorry if you're mad that I confessed, I was just getting sick of it." Yunho said, as he sat on his bed. "I'm not mad, Yunho." Mingi replied, sitting beside the older in bed. "Why aren't you?" Yunho asked, looking at the younger boy. "I kinda knew. I knew you liked someone at first, and I thought it was me, but I thought you were straight so I just suspected it was Seulgi. And why didn't you tell me you were gay?" Mingi replied.
"I was afraid, I thought you would've hated me or something. We've been friends forever, and you just had this idea in your head that I was straight and I didn't wanna freak you out. But why did you think it was you at first?" Yunho asked. "Because I was hoping you liked me. Because I like you too." Mingi responded, smiling at Yunho. "What about Seulgi?" Yunho asked. "Honestly I doon't even know if I ever loved her. I've wanted to be with you since like day one." Mingi replied. "Stop fucking with me, I know you're in love with her." Yunho replied with a saddened expression. "You want me to prove it to you, Yunho?" Mingi asked, receiving a nod from Yunho.
Mingi's lips were then planted on Yunho's, which made Yunho gasp, but immediately give in and kissed back. Mingi pulled away and smiled at the older. "Does that prove my point?" Mingi asked. "I think so. But still, what about Seulgi?" Yunho asked. "That depends on how you answer this next question. Will you be mine, Jeong Yunho?" Mingi asked. "Yes! Of course I will! So what are you gonna do about Seulgi now?" "Break up with her, and be with you for the rest of my life." Mingi replied, and it caused Yunho to smile. "Can I kiss you again?" Yunho asked, and as soon as their lips were connected the door opened and Seonghwa and Seulgi were standing in the doorway. Seonghwa started clapping, and Seulgi started crying. "Fuck." Was all Mingi could say.
"You're fucking gay? What the fuck, Mingi? I thought we were forever." Seulgi yelled. "You thought we were forever, I thought you were a way to get over my feelings for Yunho. I'm sorry Seulgi, but it's over between us." Mingi replied, and Seonghwa just continued to clap. San ran and Wooyoung ran up the stairs when they heard Seonghwa's clapping, to see the two boys really close to each other. "Wait, they're a thing now?!?" San yelled. "Fucking finally! We've all been waiting so long for this!" Wooyoung yelled back. "Fuck you Mingi." Seulgi said before she turned around and walked out of their house.
Over the next couple weeks the two of them became inseperable again. They were madly in love and never wanted to leave each others sides. Everyone else was happy that they had finally gotten together, they were sick of seeing Yunho so sad about not being with Mingi, and he finally was with him. It honestly made Yunho the happiest he'd ever been, being able to call Mingi his, being able to kiss Mingi, it was all everything Yunho dreamed of, and it was finally coming true.
