Yeosang wanted anything but to go see his family for his mother's birthday, but he knew if he stopped going, they'd win, and Yeosang didn't want them to have that victory. When Yeosang was 18 he met Yunho, and immediately fell in love with him, like it was love at first sight. Being with Yunho made him want to come out to his parents, which was a big mistake. They told him he wasn't loved by them, and that he would rot in hell for his choice of who to love, but yet, he was still invited to every single family event, so he went. His only rule was that he couldn't bring Yunho, because they didn't want any more gay influence in their house other than Yeosang.
Today was the day he had to go, and spend the whole day with his family, away from the only person in his life that matters. He stayed and cuddled Yunho a little longer than he would any other morning, and while he was saying goodbye, he stood at the door hugging Yunho for what felt like hours, until he finally left. He drove alone with his music blasting through the speakers, to distract himself from the hell he was gonna face all day.
Once he arrived at the house he sat in his car and texted Yunho for a bit, since he was putting off going in for as long as he possibly could. They shared a few 'I love you's and then Yeosang had to go in. He politely knocked on the door and waited until someone came to the door. His father let him in, and he was the last person that Yeosang wanted to see at all today. "Yeosang, you showed up." His father said in a confused voice. "You fucking invited me. And don't think I will ever let you win, because you won't" Yeosang snickered as he walked inside.
The day was horrible, no one really talked to Yeosang, unless they asked him about being gay, but all the questions were negative, he just wanted to go home and cuddle with his boyfriend, and make all his worries go away. In the middle of the day Yeosang just got up and walked away from a conversation, which was about him, but not including him. He ended up calling Yunho, because he wanted to give up, and just go home.
"Baby? Are you okay?" Yunho asked as he answered the call. "N-no. I need to come home. I can't stand it. They can fucking win if it even matters to them anymore. I want to see you. I need to see you." Yeosang said. "Sangie, can you at least try a couple more hours? I know you don't want to and I don't really want you to, but you've been pushing that you have to keep going to these things, so if it's want you've been demanding, you should stay a little bit longer." Yunho replied, he relly didn't want his boyfriend there in the first place, but Yeosang kept pushing and demanded he had to go.
"Yunho, I really can't I need you right now, I can't stay here. I'm never coming back here." Yeosang said as tears started to form in his eyes. "Okay baby. You come home, I'll be here waiting for you. We can make some food, and cuddle. Does that sound good?" Yunho replied. "Thank you, Yunho. I'll be home in half hour, get some blankets and pull out that one shirt I always wear of yours, please." Yeosang said, and almost started crying just from thinking about being home with his boyfriend.
Yeosang walked back out to the living room where his family was. "I'm leaving." Was all he said before turning around and walking out. He got in his car and just drove off, he didn't even turn on his music, he just wanted his Yunho. He slightly sped, he just needed to get home. Once he arrived at home he got out and locked his car before running to the door and opening the door, to see Yunho walking around the living room with blankets, and hearing the door open, he dropped them all. "Sangie!" He yelled as he engulfed the smaller boy into a giant hug. Yeosang jumped up and put his legs around Yunho's waist, and started crying into his shoulder.
"Hey, why are you crying?" Yunho asked. "I'm never going back there, I'm never going to look at those fuckers again. I don't know why I stuck around them for so long, especially when they didn't care." Yeosang said, continuing to cry. "Baby, let's go cuddle, I got my shirt out for you, and it'll all be okay. You never have to see them again if that's what you want." Yunho said, and tried to put Yeosang down so he could grab a blanket and go to their bedroom. "No, we don't need that blanket." Yeosang said, causing Yunho to chuckle. Yeosang held onto Yunho tighter, never wanting to let go of the taller boy.
Once they got to their bedroom Yunho put Yeosang down on the bed and went over to grab the shirt that Yeosang found so much comfort in. Yunho helped him change out of his current clothes and into his comfortable clothing, and then they crawled in bed together to cuddle. Yunho laid behind Yeosang and gently played with his honey blonde hair. "I don't want to talk about what happened yet, I just want to be here with you." Yeosang said. "That's okay, Sangie. Tell me when you're ready." Yunho replied, kissing Yeosang's forehead.
The two of them fell asleep in each others arms, Yeosang was exhausted from dealing with his family. They had talked about everything that happened, about all the homphobice remarks everyone made. Yeosang ended up crying, and Yunho was always there to support him. He wiped away the tears, and told him he loved him, making sure that he knew it.
