The young lady dropped the cup when she saw the toymaker lying on the floor. She rushed and picked him up; she tried her best but couldn’t wake him, she shook him but nothing happened, she started crying while holding his hands hoping that he would wake up, “please wake up.” She said.
She was sobbing.
He’s gone.

Still mourning, and still couldn’t believe what happened. He’s gone. The toymaker is forever gone but she kept the promise she made with him that night; to read the letter the day after. And so she did, and knew that the letter gave directions on where he keeps his diary.
The young lady discovered the toymaker’s gift, the one he never told her about - He has the gift of bringing the toys he created to life but on the process loses a year of his.
He loved her, the moment he saw her on the window. He wanted to hug her the time he comforted her when she was crying, but he can’t. That night under the moonlight, he was devastated. He felt sad but he wanted her to be happy that’s why even though it’s hard for him to let her go. He did.
He knew that the orphans were telling lies but he still made the toys hoping that one day at least one of his toys would reach her. Her tears started to pour down as she read his diary and upon reaching the last page it reads:
“I am still waiting for her. I told her that I will wait for her, that night under the moonlight.
I will wait for her.
I just hope I could make it and see her for the last time, see her smile, see her eyes, touch her face.
God, I love her so much!
I finished making the last toy I could make; I hope she takes care of it.
-Toymaker”
