from the last chapter:

for me and, for you

*he starts sobbing*

at the mere sight of benji crying, jorge suddenly woke up, and yelled wait a sec to his phone, then grabbed his phone, without ending the call and running over to benji's house.

arriving at benji's house panting, jorge ripped off the door and ran up to all too familiar stairs to where he knew that benji would be siting crying

but i'm still stuck on you

oh, oh

i'm still falling for you

for you

for you

chapter 2:

third person pov (a summary of the past couple of hours since jorge found benji)

i feel close

as soon as jorge rushed into benji's room, he saw benji sprawled across his bed, papers were thrown around the room, benji still sobbing as jorge burst opened the door.

well maybe i'm not, heaven knows

what jorge hadn't seen from the facetime call was the fact that there were light bruises surrounding benji's eyes, almost looking like a sickly puke-like colour, which almost completely contrasted the bright red rings also around benji's eyes.

it's a spotlight stuck on the ceiling

jorge was completely gobsmacked by what he saw, but he rushed over to benji's side and let him cry over him, asking him questions but benji wouldn't answer.

slowly benji moving to jorge's lap and started to lie down on him. jorge didn't know what to say as benji started sniffing and the silence had finally hit jorge when he reciprocated by giving back a tight hug.

jorge pov:

i had been silently waiting for benji to wake up, when i caught myself seemingly at benji, i knew he was cute, it was how he made every girl at our school fall in love with him, as well me, i silently added, as ever since we became friends in elementary school, i had always had heart-eyes for benji, i pulled myself out of my thoughts and glanced over to benji, who had caught my stares.

why are these the things that i'm feeling?

"take a picture, it'll last longer," he croaked out, along with a slightly forced out laugh and smile combination. unaware of how to continue the conversation, i reply with an awkward, "you good, you want to talk about anything?", with a quick dismissal of a shake of a head, i decided not prod the question any further.

there's so much time

but instead i try to recreate a casual conversation, "so do you want to watch some netflix?", as if he was considered two different options, he tilted his head a stared to a space near my face, but the closeness of the stare was enough to make my heart rate race, as well as make me sweat a little, which i promptly wiped away, until he respond with an unnatural sounding, "sure, you can choose if you want."
