Grace's POV

I can't get used to the reality I'm in. The idea that I'm actually pregnant, actually carrying a tiny baby inside me, can't seem to sink into my brain. Chester has been amazingly supportive. He promised he would do everything he could to help the baby and me. I am beyond grateful for him.

RING. RING.

"Hello?" I say, picking up my phone.

"Smellbig!" Hannah says. "Want to come over for a few drinks today?"

I obviously can't go over to Hannah's and drink. What do I say, I haven't told her yet.

"I'll come over, but I think I might skip the drinks." I reply.

"What's up with you Smelly, you haven't seemed yourself lately." Hannah asks.

"I'll tell you when I come over, yeah?" I answer.

"Alright. See you in a few."

I drive to Hannah's, and knock on her door.

"Hey Grace." Hannah greets me, her expression seemingly worried.

"Hey Han." I say, giving her a quick side hug.

"So, what's going on?" Hannah asks, getting straight to the point.

"Well, a few months ago, I got a bit drunk at Chester's and we...you know," I start.

"Did the frick frack?" Hannah says.

"Frick frack?" I ask, laughing a little despite the serious topic.

"It's what the kids say!" Hannah explains.

"Anyways, we..did the frick frack as you say...unprotected, and now we're....expecting a baby." I finish.

"Oh my god, Grace!" She exclaims, rushing over to hug me.

"Why the excitement?" I ask, returning the hug awkwardly.

"I never thought I'd get to see you be a mom. You're wonderful with children, it'd be a shame if you never had a little one!" Hannah says, grinning widely.

"You're a dumb dumb." I remind her.

"Hey when that kid is born you'll have to watch your language." She tells me.

I laugh at her joke, my eyes drifting to my abdomen. Will I really be able to do this?
