I glanced behind and saw the red reptile creature with it's sharp teeth. It hissed, what was new. I glanced back at (y/n) and she just sat there and watched the reptile like nothing has happened. She stood up from the ground and slowly stretched her arm out to the creature. "(y/n)! Don't do that..!" I whispered.
She put her hand on the nose of the creature. The reptile hissed and tried to bite her. But she put her hand away fast.
y/n POV:
I wondered what would happen if I touch this thing. It seemed calm.. Mr. Ulgrin seemed to be shocked. Maybe this is unusual.
"Why won't he kill me?" I asked Daniel in a normal voice.
"I don't know. Get away from it." He whispered.
"No."
He gave me an mad stare. I ignored it and tried to pet the reptile on its head. It layered itself down on the ground, like a dog. "Why are you scared of it? It's cute." "You think a fucked up dog with giant claws and sharp teeth will let you hug it?"
"Well? Maybe? I'll try out." "No, you will not. It's still dangerous. Why the fuck aren't you even scared of that piece of shit?" "I don't know? I just don't feel any fear or panic.." I rolled my eyes and layered myself down, next to the creature.
"What are you even doing? What if his little friends come over and eat us?"
"You can stop being mad now.. It's asleep and we can move on soon enough.." I glanced at him.
"Fucking hell.. Why am I supposed to be with you.."
"Why are you trying to argue?" "Because you'll get us in trouble! You know shit about this dog thing! How am I suppose to explain it else?" "There are different ways! Let's just go.."
He rolled his eyes and stood up quietly. I stood up and pet the reptile one more time before going.
We walked around quietly and silent, so we could hear the other reptiles. We spotted another elevator. Ulgrin glanced at me and then took me by my hand. "Now, don't try anything stupid and come with me." He whispered.
We stepped in front of the closed elevator and then pressed the button. It opened. But then, we heard someone walking. It sounded like a human. Ulgrin took a look. He turned and saw a scientist. But he had a mask on..
"Oh fuck... (y/n) get in now!"
I glanced confused at Ulgrin but then at the other man.
"Mask!" I suddenly felt joy. It was unusual for me to feel joy.
"Hello, cherry!" He smiled and slowly walked over. "(y/n) get in." Ulgrin already walked backwards.

You pressed the button to go up and got out of the elevator as fast as you could. You fell into the creatures arms. You hugged him. You had no idea why, but you've missed him.
"It's good to see you again, cherry." He smiled. "I've missed you.." You let the hug break.
