Chapter 27

Hey y'all!

I'm sorry this update took so long, I got sick and didn't really have too much motivation, but i'm back!
Believe it or not this book is coming to a close...
I know! I'm sad too, but I've had this planned out since the beginning, and I also don't want to just drag it out, because that's just boring, so be prepared for only a few more chapters~

Lè time skip to last day of 1st year brought to you by me rewatching Steven Universe and getting pissed at everyone all over again!
"I can't believe our first year at UA is already over!" Mina smiled excitedly
"I can't believe it was just a few months ago we were enemies! Look at us now!" Iro hugged and smiled at the pink hued girl "the best of friends!"
Class 1-A was having their end of the year party that most of the girls had organized, much to Aizawa's dismay. The former villains had taken some getting used to for everyone, but after a lot of explaining, everyone had started to become friends.
Deku was sitting at his desk talking with Iida abs Uraraka about how nervous he was about the exams, even though everyone knew he would pass, seeing as how he was so far ahead of the rest of the class. In fact, he ended up with the top scores of any first year at the school.
Dabi and Toga were in their normal seats, chatting. Dabi had actually stopped dyeing his hair, as he only did that to Disguise the fact that he was related to Endeavor, not because he wanted to, and now that his secret was out in the public, there was no need for it anymore, although everyone else had gotten quite attached to their 'Villain' looks, so they kept them.
As promised, the former villains were able to attend any hero meetings and that took place, as well as give input to the heroes present and were beginning to have a big impact. They had told everyone about many heroes who had acted less than hero-like, and got their licenses revoked. Dabi and Shoto even managed to put all of Endeavor's wrongdoings into the open with the help of Aizawa and a few other Pro's, taking his hero license and putting him behind bars for child abuse. All might had apologized to Deku over and over again, and even though he wasn't forgiven fully yet, Deku could tell he truly regretted what he did and kept his secret. Deku convinced Nezu to open a new department in the school for Quirkless students, where they would be taught how to make the quirk changing chemicals that he had invented as well as fighting skills, and other things they would need to know as heroes. The department was set to open in a few years, but both Deku and Sakura had already decided to come back once they got their licenses and teach, as it was THIER idea after all.
Deku and Sakura, with the help of a couple pros, also worked on bringing attention to how wrong society treats people who were born without a quirk, trying to make sure that nothing like what they went through would ever happen to someone again.
After a good couple hours of partying, Mr.Aizawa had had enough, and just told the class to leave early so he could sleep. Everyone got up cheering and filed out of the room and down the hall chatting about what their plans were for the break. Deku and Dabi were at the back of the group, Dabi with his arm around the green haired boy, talking about random things until a certain explosive boy walked back to join them.
"Deku, uh can I talk to you"
Deku nodded at Dabi, as if to say go on ahead, and after glaring at the blonde boy, he complied, going to talk to Toga outside the school.
Deku smiled at Katsuki "Yes Bakugo?"
After a lot of thinking, Deku had decided to stop letting their past fuel his anger. Deku still hadn't forgiven the blonde fully, that would maybe never happen, but he was much less bitter and angry about it.
"I just wanted to tell you, that maybe, you aren't as terrible as I thought"
Well, what else was expected from Bakugo, "Well, thank you, Umm, is that all you wanted?"
Bakugo growled a little, then looked over at Kirishima, who was waiting for him by the door, who gave him a thumbs up and his trademark sharky grin. (I love Kiri so much, I swear to god. Anyways back to the story) Bakugo rolled his eyes at the redhead's enthusiasm and turned Back to Deku
"What I'm tryina say, is that I'm sorry for the way I treated you when we were younger. You didn't deserve it, and I'm sorry"
Deku smiled. Maybe Katsuki wasn't too bad after all if he just apologized. The Katsuki he used to know would never apologize for anything.
"Thanks Bakugo. That means a lot coming from you"
"Tch Whatever. I'll see you after break nerd"
"Bye Kacchan"
Deku almost thought he saw the blonde smile at the use of his old nickname as he was turning away to talk to Kirishima. Deku just shook his head and went to meet Dabi and the others so they could go home.

Alright so just a heads-up
There will probably be about 1 or 2 more chapters in this story, and after that, I will be doing some serious editing of this whole book before starting another one, but that being said if anyone has any requests on a story I could write next, please leave it in the comments or message me! I'd love to hear your ideas!
