Laineys POV
I woke up the next morning curled up in a little ball on Drews bed. I got out of the bed and put my clothes on and then I had rememberd what had happened last night. Right when that flashback came back to me I broke down crying. I couldn't take the fact that I had been raped. I couldn't stand it.
I ran down the stairs of the large house and cried as I ran. I saw Jay sitting at the table in the kitchen talking to Drew. Jay saw me and walked over to me. "Babe. Whats wrong?" He asked me. I didn't know what to tell him so I just decided to blurt it out.
"I was raped last night! There I said it!" I yelled at him then started to cry again. Jay looked shocked. Like he didn't believe what he just heard.
"You were what?!" He yelled.
"RAPED! I said it once and I"m not fucking saying it again." I yelled as I cried. I fell to the floor crying. Jay sat on the floor next to me and held me.
"By who?" He asked as he held me.
"A-Aaron." I stuttered.
"Oh my God. I'm going to fucking kill Aaron." The anger in Jays voice was really strong.
Jay stood up and picked me up off of the floor. I stood up and wiped away my tears.
"I want to get out of here. I don't want to be here any longer." I said. I ran out to Jays car and locked myself inside. Jay started knocking on the window telling me to let him in.
"Come on babe. Let me in." He said.
After a few minutes I finally let him in. He held me close to him and I cried into his chest. Jay said that he was going to call 911 and report it to the police. "NO!" I yelled and knocked Jays phone out of his hand.
"Lainey. You were raped we have to get Aaron arrested." He said and picked his phone up.
"I will call the police at some point I promise but for now I- I just want to get things figured out." I sniffled holding my tears back.
"Fine. Okay. But promise me that you will call the police." He said. I promised him. We just sat in the car for a while. He held me and kissed my head. "It's okay. I'm not going to let anything happen to you again babe. I love you. I love you so much." He said and ran his fingers through my hair. The sound of Jays heartbeat calmed me down a little bit.
A few minutes later I sat up and got in the passenger seat. "Can we go to a convenient store or something. I need a pack of cigarettes." Usually Jay says no when I want to buy cigarettes but he nodded his head and we started driving to a small store down the road.
When we got there Jay opened up the door for me and I hopped out of the car. We walked in the store hand in hand.
The first thing I grabbed were the cigarettes and then Jay and I started walking down separate aisles seeing if there was anything else we needed. I was looking at the rows of stuff and then I saw a small box that said pregnancy test on it. I was tempted to buy it. What if Aaron got me pregnant? The thought of that made me cringe. I grabbed the box and quickly ran to the check out area so Jay wouldn't see me buy it.
The lady gave me a strange look when she saw that I was buying cigarettes and a pregnancy test.
"That'll be 15.99." She said. I handed her the money and she gave me my bag. Jay checked out and we got in the car and started driving to Jays house.
We got there and he held my hand and walked in. Jays parents were on a business trip so it was just me and Jay in the house.
We walked up to Jays room and we sat on his bed. I accidentally dropped my bag and the pregnancy test fell out and Jay saw it. "You really don't think he got you pregnant do you?" Jay asked and picked it up off of the floor.
"I- I don't know." I said. I grabbed the test from him and went into the bathroom to take it.
I took it and went out to the bedroom where Jay was. I sat down next to him and looked at it. "So... What does it say?" He asked.
"It says..." I paused in the middle of my sentence and looked at it again. "It says..."
