♡Chapter 3♡

(Next Morning)

    I blink and rub my eyes. My alarm clock is ringing. When did I even go to sleep? I sit up and look around. I’m still in my school uniform. Ugh, thank god I bought a spare, well Umma did because she keeps saying I’m too irresponsible. 

  The alarm keeps blinking 7:00 back to me. I turn it off and walk over to my closet. My spare uniform hangs there untouched. I yank it off the hanger and head to the bathroom. I wash up and brush my hair. 

  Eventually, I get dressed and walk out of the bathroom. I grab a granola bar and a water bottle. Breakfast is served.

  I grab my old crimson bag. It’s from Appa so I adore it. I step out the door when I hear Umma shriek from behind me.

“Where do you think you’re going at this hour?” she screams. “Did we not just talk about this yesterday?”

“School…?” I say slowly.

“Oh, well go on then,” she purses her lips and shoos me out the door.

  I sigh and walk out. As I take a bite into my granola bar, I see Yuni waiting by the bus stop where we usually meet each other.

“Sunny!” she beams.

“Hello.”

“You okay?” she asks and links her arm into mine. 

We walk and I sigh again.

“Umma is taking this too far,” I groan. “Why couldn’t Appa take me with him?”

“What did she do this time?”

“She totally blocked off my access to the whole world! This morning she screamed at me while I was trying to leave for school!”

I tell her about last night and how Chanyeol came over. I tell her what Umma said about me and how she threatened to send me to Jindo with my grandmother. The whole time her mouth was hanging open. 

“Oh. My. God.”

“Yep, last night was too much.”

We near the school and I take a deep breath when I see Chanyeol walking towards me. 

“Oppa,” I beam and he takes me in his arms.

“Sunny,” he smiles right back and pecks me on the lips. 

“Get a room!” Yuni squeals from next to me.

We all laugh and walk into the school. The bell was supposed to ring in a few minutes. We bid our goodbyes and walk to our classes. 

I don’t know how I’ll be able to sneak out for Suho’s party tonight. Everyone is going to be there. I can’t miss it.

 Thud!

I look up to see a tall boy cowering over me. 

“Watch where you’re going,” he barks.

“Sorry,” I mutter and reach to pick up my books which were now sprawled all over the floor. 

I straighten my skirt and continue walk into my homeroom class. I sit in my seat and I see the boy that I bumped into standing at the front of the classroom.What is he doing here?

 “Take your seats, take your seats,” our teacher orders as he writes something on the chalkboard. “We have a new student, Jeon Jungkook, please introduce yourself.”

“Annyeong, I’m Jungkook, please take care of me.” 

He bows his head slightly and I hear a few girls squeal in the back. 

“Take a seat by Sun-Mi, Sun-Mi please raise your hand,” our teacher smiles.

  My mouth drops open but I quickly shut it and raise my hand. How can he scold me like that earlier if he was new here?

He walks over and sits in the empty seat next to me. Now I’m sharing a desk with him. These chairs are too close. I try to scoot my chair a bit further but he notices.

“I don’t bite, you know,” he chuckles. 

My cheeks grow hot and I try to look anywhere but him. The teacher told us to get out our class books and we began our lesson.

   To be completely honest, this Jungkook kid was actually really charming. I can’t believe I just said that. Well it’s not like I like him or anything, I have Chanyeol Oppa and it can’t get any better than that. 

  Speaking of Chanyeol, here he comes. He smiles and puts his arm around my shoulder. I look up at him and he gives me a quick kiss.

“Oppa, not in public!” I scold but he just chuckles.

“Why not?” he whines.

“Because… I said so,” I wink.

He pouts his cute little lips and I couldn’t help but give them a kiss.

“Jagiya, not in public!” he scolds and sticks out his tongue.

We both start laughing when Yuni walks up to us.

“What are you guys laughing about? Hurry up, the lunch line is getting longer,” Yuni grabs my hand and drags me to the cafeteria. I pull Oppa with me and we hed into the cafeteria.
