Piper's POV
I wake up in almost the comfortable bed I have ever slept on. I look around expecting to be in my dad's mansion, but the room is unfamiliar. Then I remember what happened. I was murdered. Or killed, by a giant, to save my boyfriend. Jason Grace. Suddenly I get a migraine that runs through my whole body. I hear a voice saying "Please. Come back, Pipes. Why did it have to be you? Why not me??!!" It's Jason, I think that his thoughts can reach mine when he concentrates. I hear a knock on my door that jolts me out of the bed. I look down and notice that I am wearing a brand new, pink dress. It's beautiful, but he knows I hate pinky It was Nico di Angelo. He used to tell me that when I died he would have his dad put a charm on me so my new pair of cloths was a pink dress. I silently curse him and walk to the door. I open it to a man, or teenager, maybe a few years older than me. He's tall, lean, steadily built, blonde. No doubt attractive, then again he kind of looks like Jason. The only difference: this one has icy blue eyes and a nasty scar running down from his hairline to his chin.
"I'm Luke. I heard you were a new-comer," he winks. "I also heard you knew some of my old friends."
"Umm..Uh.." I don't know how to answer, so I let him in.
"So," he must feel the tension, too.
"Let me introduce myself. I'm Piper McLean daughter of Aphro-"
"MCLEAN? LIKE TRISTAN MCLEAN?" I knew it.
"Yeah," I answer cautiously.
"Okay. Sorry."
"Wait. You're Luke Castellan! My friends talk about you."
"WHO?"
"Annabeth, Percy, Connor, Travis, even Chiron."
"Oh my gods. How is Annie?"
"She's good. So.." He stares at me with a longing look. I double over in pain, just another message from Jason. Luke catches me and looks into my eyes, our faces centimeters apart. He intensely says "You are beautiful." Great.
A/N
Sorry it's so short!! Its like 20:50 (military time, regular time: 8:50) and I am suffering from writers block. That and I have a "life", or at least what remains of it!! Until Next Time! You guys are my doves!! Stay beautiful (or handsome, depending on what gender you are 😘)!!
